today's teachers' day! so happy teachers' day to everyone out there! =D yeah, even you non-teachers, cos i know you've taught someone in your life something, sometime xD

our teachers' day celebrations were pathetic.. dunnid say anything. standard teacher's quiz, where they describe a teacher and give so many hints that its obvious, and let u guess. then they show a few teachers' baby photos, ask u guess. then it was the performance section. pitiful. absolutely pitiful. not that i could haf done better myself (except the skit part =P), but it was bad. even zhiyi's performance was below par by my expectations. he musta done a lot better during the music awards. but his voice is very good. maybe hes tired or smt o.o; and the finale was.. some finale. crappish. very weak. j chou's an jing, with a sax, piano and a singer. cmi lor. =
oh, and aces day was a failure as usual =) guess what my p3 brother said. note, hes on mc today. "i cant believe i missed aces day!" see the difference in perspective between a sec 4 and a p3 xD

and joel. i wanna say something okay. lemme tell you this. once more i repeat that its the small things that ppl do that make or break your day. and everything else in particular too. lemme tell you this. if you remembered, on the msn conversation, i wasn't that pissed when i was asking you whether or not you took my source. it was your spoilt brat reaction that i got pissed at okay. "ya. lol." i mean, what the hell la. u take ppls stuff without asking u say "yes, i took it" and laugh? and not even apologise or suggest a method to rectify the situation? joel. i thought you were of a higher status than that. at least that time when alvin took my source he credited me and apologised. and btw, not talking to you is NOT daoing. when you spoke to me did i not respond? your idea of daoing is when i have eye contact wif u i must say something? oh, then i must be the most dao person in singapore. and btw. telling a girl that shes PMS-y is the ultimate way to lose a girlfriend, so you wont wanna even try it with any ordinary friends. not to mention that I am feeling pms-y now.

you're lucky that you have a friend like joyce. taking up someone else's blogskin project is hard, especially if the receiving party doesn't know a shit about html. i know this cos i did it once, so i can relate with how she feels. lemme tell you this. you did nothing to clear her name. she did it herself, and if she dint, i'd be screwing another person here now. and thank god for that.

joel. learn this. i dont think i'm in the wrong. i dont think i daoed you, i dont think i deserve to have my hard work duplicated exactly. and listen to this. u make it seem like its my fault that you have to change your blogskin again. you make it seem like its my fault that your skin seems so much like mine. and dont make it seem like you're the only one in the world that has the right to get pissed. cos u pissed me off two days ago with your attitude. and if u have a problem with mine, fine. i have nothing more to say.

HAPPY 200TH POST!!! haha.. WHEE! we've come a long way, bloggy. lets push on and hit 300 =D

okay, to everyone else, as promised, there's gonna be a relatively longer post today. it'll span from last friday to today, so get your eyedrops ready. they're gonna go dry real easy. =p

lets start with today. i had phy prac prelim today. it was actually very easy compared to what i was expecting. that chung ar, meh us until like hell over such an easy paper. 1st qn was on light. the one measure refractive index of a glass block de. except that 3 marks went to using vernier calipers and 50-cm ruler to measure the dimensions of the block. then there was a catch. they added a new part to it - a 2nd way to measure using approximated values. then they ask a qn that goes smt like which one more reliable and explain. then design an experiment to obtain the value of n using the apparatus as above. u know, after 30 mins i was already reading the 2nd qn and drawing up my graph and table. xP

so 2nd qn. it was a pendulum qn, except there were no masses this time. it was just a chain of paper clips, and u vary the number of clips on the chain. then get 6 readings, and draw a straight line graph, i cant believe it.. in the prelim i can get such a beautiful straight line. not to mention they ask us determine the y-intercept rite, i use the emaths formulae, and my intercept come out to be -0.01. the formula T=2(pi)sqrt(l/g). so theoretically, intercept shld be 0.000. OMG! that's my margin of error la.. DAMN FRICKIN SMALL!! =DD haha.. man, i have a good feeling abt my prac for this prelim. cant believe chung scare us until lidat. but i think the marking scheme gonna be very hiong.

then just as we left, we take our hp. elaine goh was our invigilator for the 2nd half, so she was there. she went "hey, that's a nice phone. shaun." haha.. i turn back and grin, and see her grinning there. "i just wish i could take one of these phones." cant believe ego so lame until can like that la. then ccb took notice.

so lets go back to friday. for a very detailed account of this day's event, please refer to alvin's blog. i'll just give a brief summary and my thoughts.

after the eng prelim, we go back and collect our report books. so as usual, chung will walk in, slam the stuff on her table and sit down. then she give out the report slips that time is throw on the table de lar. then when she was done, she attitude. "i was told i need to stay until 1.45, that's why i'm staying." then she give dulan face. short 30 second pause. then she start to meh like hell. first time i see her scream until so fierce. some of her quotes. "i dont want anything from your class on teachers' day. you'll just ruin my day. so if you're gracious, you wont give me anything." "i dont believe in friends or enemies forever. for instance, i dont think 4-10 is enemies with me anymore. *evil grin*" "your EQ is practically ZERO. CHUNG LS. we greet u on the sidewalks and u dao us. then we stop greeting u and u start to kp. i just dont get it. i mean, every little thing she will just kp la. this is seriously wad i mean by the little things that people do make or break your day. when chung writing the scholarship applications for ged and ys, they dun talk to chung for a while and go to egoh instead. and she can get piassed over that la. then got once jeremy chee accidentally send her a message that was meant for marvin and she also misinterpret that. not to mention that jeremy ran to her to apologise too. and then she meh us for not voting mdm ng in inspiring teacher's award..

but i think i offended her too.. tt time she ask us (jeremy, joel, me) to stop for a while to take care of the prelim scripts that she was marking outside the staff rm. then i nv hear her and continue walking. then i realised that the two j's stopped and i turn back to ask them why they stop, and i got maybe a dulan look on my face. then chung walks out. -.-; perfect timing rite.

the trigger factor for the cold war? imo its the inspiring teachers. it was the first thing that she meh us abt on youth day. this is the way it works. every student is given a card to vote their face teacher. then the votes are collected, and the votes are given to their respective teachers. WTF!??! see la, now u create more probs than u solve. teachers rival with each other for votes, and scold their form classes for the votes they (never) deserved, but never got. look at it this way. we nv vote peck eng cos even tho she work damn hard, she wasn't as special as some of the others. like for eg, llp, krishnan. they work hard too, no? but they have an additional something. then we, as a class, united as we are, decide which teacher we want to see going up on stage to receive the prize. the info we got from jion was that if one class votes one teacher, that teacher almost surely win le. so we decide each time who we want to win. and guess what? when we vote 1 teacher, 8 other teachers dont get votes. u appease one and insult 8. like that how? i say, u shldn't show the teachers their votes, and who voted for them. especially some teachers like david chen rite, all the votes he receive have damn dricking sarcastic remarks. "mr chen is the BEST teacher!" when we know he's not. its damn disappointing and demioralizing la. i think the next fresheye day i go put this suggestion. cfm win gold prize de.

ah. enough abt that. onto saturday.

its my mum's bdae! guess wad my brother said at midnite. "huh? who's bdae? really?!' -.-; he can forget la xD so we went for lunch at kuishin bo, then go shopping at paragon. but what my mum was jealous abt was that on her bdae i get the present. ^^; i got my new phone that day =D 6680. and that day ar, wah seh. see everyone at home "cannot" say no to her requests xD its like she ask for wat she get wat la. so she bought TWO pairs of new shoes. roflmao.. wah seh. and she get my dad to carry for her summore. haha.. i can imagine a certain someone reading this blog would be going "girl power!" now. sexist =P

then sunday.

i skipped church that dae, cos there was a frenly match between my condo and some tennis club, and we were hosting it at our place. the match started at 3.15 (our players were late. all of them. -.-;) with the men's singles. then me and josh went in to take the 2nd match - men's doubles. we really took the match lightly la.. then kena thrash 6-2 xD

my second match was also wif josh, against two eh. looks like young to mid 20s de. they were damn good la, we really learnt some stuff from them. we were actually trailing 4-0 at first, then we changed tactic, we were playing v defensive, and then can come up to volley very easy. then we found out that they were slow to come to the net, taking two hits. so we change. after serving or receiving we straight away rush net. josh did damn well la, save us a lot of points. 5-2. then they took the last point at sudden death. 6-2 also. but this time round it was very satisfying, at least we fought. at least we learnt that in doubles, whoever rushes the net and plays two-up first has the greater advantage. it was good =D

then third match, same partner, playing against two uncles. this time really die. they play such a slooooooow match and me and josh warm up to the damn quick game just now, so now we swing racket too fast, always hit frame and go out. first 4 games went by in 10 mins. 4-0 down. then we change tactic again. we play pushball. =P i think if my coach saw us there he cfm whack me up de xD we just pushed all the balls back in, and hit it into open spaces when we could. then we catch back up, and beat then 6-5. close eh =\ then we came out and my dad was like, "not bad. they're good, yaknow?" i was thinking no leh. they're damn inconsistent. hit one to the backhand sure go out de xD

my fourth amtch was mixed doubles, my mum was my partner, against two older people. we beat then 6-4

the result for that day? bishanpark condo beats _____ tennis club 7-5!! =DDDDDD they have more experience than us, they have more players, they are fitter, and we still beat them! we rock =D after that josh and i went gym for half an hour then go home.

oh yeah. do josh and i look like brothers? two ppl commented the same thing in one wk.. seriously, i dont think so ley.. but others do. o.O

guess what, i'm back on RO! so that means that i'll be blogging less and playing more everyday ^^; today's a classic example, i play until forget to blog xD but yaknow smt? playing such games is a good way to lose weight.. it gets my mind off food =P

so lhb was telling us today that theres gonna be another prelim... 3rd wk in 4th term. i'm gonna chiong a maths and geog for this one. at least these two subs. calc method is best of
a. 1st prelim
b. 30% 1st prelim, 70% 2nd prelim

yupyup. so results wont fall, will only rise. and many depts i think are gonna set easier papers. i think only phy might set harder.. i mean.. the previous paper so easy liao, cannot be easier that kind yaknow.

oh, btw, gedeon beat me in chem o.o; he become damn freaking pro now la.. top chem, top bio, top combined humans. in our class, at least. MUGGERR!! haha.. and hes also ro-ing with us. dunno how he can master of every trade like that lor.. must ask.

NOO!! i forgot to blog xD go out in the morning, slept in the afternoon, wake up and go for tennis. so forgot to blog all the way =

erm.. i guess that's it. 3 hrs of tennis. i feel like my arms gonna fall off o.o; its this intercon tournament that's like.. we're pia-ing for.. and its like, 3 to 4 hrs each time. but actually.. getting a fever once every few days isn't such a bad idea =D

now i know that theres two kinds of fever.
1. 37.5, but you're half dead on ur couch and ur thinking that its like, 39 or something. when you take your temperature, you get disappointed that it isn't that bad, and going to a doctor would make you look bad o.o;
2. 38.5, and you're all "i feel alright and i am more alive than you and i can even beat you in a game of tennis!" but when you feel a little dizzy and warm you take ur temperature and go "wow. MC!!! =DDDDD"

i have the second one xD fyi i was in sch yesterday with a fever.. roflmao. i think xuxu still remembers that time when i was half dead in sch and feeling all frozen and stuff before the chi o level.. that time my temp was only 37.8 or smt like that =o

had my eng oral today. was good, but i think my picture will have trouble.. other than that.. should be pretty fine. distinction might not be a problem for oral. my pic was this dancer, prolly hiphop or smt, looking like shes from a university or a jc, dancing in orchard. of course, i dint dare to say its orcahrd la.. not enough evidence xD but just looking at it.. looks like orchard ba. then theres a crowd around her, some watching, some not. i was only asked one qn for conversation. its like "have you ever been to an exhibition?" at first i only answered one "yes" cos i thought there was gonna be a second qn. then the examiner gives a slight laugh and goes "would you like to describe the exhibition?" i'm wondering now what would happen if i said "no" xD so anw i dint get prompted, but i got interrupted once. the examiner went "did you buy anything?" so i said no and elab a bit. btw, mich, too bad. my examiner wasn't mrs singh =P shes in grp F249 if i'm nt wrong.

darn.. i think i'm catching the flu bug again. muscleaches, headache and mild fever methinks.. i woke up this morning sweating like hell too xD yupyups, so this entry shall be shorter.

today we been briefed on the new timetable.. we're talking staying back until 3.15 everyday, except mon and thurs for me. happy? yes and no. yes cos thurs its 2.30, and no cos monday is FIVE!!! *dies* stupid chinese -.-; nvm. i shall strive for an a1!!

chung showed us the msg of chem and physics today.. abit the disappointing.. for phy, only 4 8 and 4 10 got msg lower 2.. the rest 3 and higher.. 4 8 is 1.47 and 4 10 is 1.44. NOOO!!! if zhi yi got a b4 instead of a c5 we woulda beaten 4 10!!!! DARN. then the rest of them are like.. 3.xx and above. i think 4 4 and 4 3 were smt like 6.xx.. pretty bad. then chem was like, other than 4 8 and 4 10 again, the rest are all more than 3.. 4 8 and 4 10 are ard 2.4 like that.. then stuff like 4 11 were 5.xx, 4 7 also 5.xx. tis bad. then she showed us the combined sci grades.. both classes were 7.xx msg!! wah seh. i think cat high next year die liao =

so i got my chem a1.. yups. got pretty lucky.. my section a of paper 2 pulled me up. and cant believe how many mistakes their mcq answer sheet has! =o they already changed one mistake before giving back to us, then we discovered two more qns that cfm answer is wrong.. then there still a few qns that seem wrong too.. so at least add 2 marks! =D now just haf to see prac.. if none screw up then its phy and chem a1 bio a2. they also say that i topded the class in phy and chem.. remember the last time i did that was like.. in jan o.o; i'm baaack!! =D

lesee.. my l1r5 ish 11 without any moderation.. quite an improvement from the previous terms ba.. usually get ard 13 or 14.. then hopefully geog they moderate, then eng see how.. best-case scenario is 7 ba.. CAN GO RJ!! =DDDD but eh. got so many other 7-2 people out there.. i better not get complacent =o

planetarium coming out on sept 14th.. ai's 10th single!! =DD i heard the intro just now.. sounds like another sad love song. and its niiiice o.o; but we gotta hear the whole thing before making any judgement rite? but i'm biased towards ai already.. so you hafta judge for urself =P

we had the ne quiz today.. its pretty fun compared to usual sch lessons xD at least the moe knows how to make the survey *quite* interesting rather than just a survey o.o; but in comparison to simcity.. haha. bwg xD my score was 585000.. what about you?

then during assembly was teh media expressions.. some MV and advertisment competition for students.. it was teh kewl. some of the advertisments were really cool, but imo they're really off professional standard, like off-sync parts, or inappropriate clips and stuff.. but i liked the fact that it was really pretty well done. cant do better myself ^^; i like that one.. the sec 2 one, done by my junior xD its that one that they mimic the anti-drug campaign.. forgot what it actually said... the clip that they made went smt like "wo men bai tian shi student, xia qu shi lan gamers" etc. its an anti-sch-lan-gaming ad o.O but it was like.. interesting that they did that xD

ello people! welcome to the same old blog at a new add! i guess i shld say sorry for making such a sudden change ^^; but i think my parents found out about my blog. i mean, it just sucks to have your parents read ur blog, dontcha think? yeah. i have some evidence to back it up too! =o except that its more visible to me than to you.. but its still within your line of sight. ah, forget abt that. just know that my parents have been reading my blog for a while.. first indication came yesterday night.. then the evidence came almost at the same time xD yups. so yeah. i blogged ytd, so check teh archives if you missed it.

got back three papers today - phy, a maths and geog.. not good. phy got 89.375, a maths got 68.75 and geog got around 67. the thing is that in 4-8 i think theres only abt 4 distinctions.. so that means that across the whole level distinction rate mus be damn low.. so hoping for moderation there. and my a maths too.. hopefully peck eng nice enuff give me that 1 mark so it becomes an a2 xD

so lesee my l1r5 excluding chem which i will definitely put in..

i had a dream ytd.. except that by my definition of a dream, it wasn more like a nightmare. i was seated with three other friends in a hall. it was a sch hall, but it wasn't my sch hall.. the floor was darker than the current one and by the way the light streamed through onto the ground, it just wasn't cat high. as usual, the dream was in explicit detail but i have only one scene to remember it by.. and by this scene, the hall, if it was a hall i entered before, was either ai tong or cat high's old sch hall.. those without aircon. i cant remember who i was seated with, and i was viewing this scene from above my body.. the dream says that i got 36/80 for chem. and worst of all is that i just laughed it off by saying "no problem la.. whole level failed anw" then i come to sch today, and i get rumours that the chem paper was horribly done.. the last time i had a dream in such detail.. argh. it had better not come true this time.

today got back bio and combined humanities.. bio is en route for a low a2 and humanities is mid b3. pretty disappointing, though i wasn't counting on either subject.. i wanna get a1s for my chem phy and geog! =D i wonder if i shld hope for my a maths ^^;

oh yes. i gotta clear up yesterday's fiasco (yes, i did blog ytd. go check teh archives) since i noticed it looked extremely unlike what i wanted it to look like xD i've never had much luck with girls, so dont start imagining things xP it is actually an exchange between two guys. two guys and one of them is me. those that know me well enough can guess which is me anw. no prizes for a correct answer =P i shall protect the other party and not provide his name xP btw, if you understood the circumstances i was subject to you would know why the event happened. it was terrible. please refer to yesterday's blog entry for clues xD no, i never said i would give you teh answer. the fun part is never knowing the answer.. ROFLMAO. too bad~~~ =P

i noticed today that my handwriting has changed. A LOT. its like, take a paper from one month ago and compare to my paper now.. wah seh. really change a lot. now i actually have friends telling me that my handwriting is nice =o its a pleasant change =D

just came back from oral practice.. and i think i got some tips to share. the examiners like it when the candidates are confident in speaking and are natural when they speak.. one was written on my prelim oral remarks, and the other is krishnan praise me de. =D krishnan is like, cool lor.. the way she give feedback and praise u is like, really motivate u to do better de. like for instance, "you are sure A one.. now its just a matter of how high an A. improve your reading and you will score really high"

okay, enough about me. now other people.

JOEL! life is full of meaning, dontcha know? if u believe in life in heaven after death, i believe that life on earth is like, used to teach us how to be nice people, and to give us experience with problems.. i cant imagine what would happen if we went into heaven and were all, spoilt and stuff. god would just die la xD the problems also toughen us, and let us prove ourselves. and if you dont, just look around you. isn't there beauty in all forms around you? admire a flower, watch a butterfly, stare at the clouds, gaze at the stars. life isn't all that bad =)

and mich. dint i tell you that when ur dad says he'll get you an mp3 player he sure get one? its just a matter of time and which one he buys you de.. see? ur patience has paid off hasn't it? now ur mp3 player is NICER THAN MINE!!!! my turn to cry T.T haha.. j/k =P parents in general are really nice people if you get to know them =)

i cutteded my hair today! but as usual, something has to stay. its the left half of my fringe this time. my left, not yours. yeah. my dog got her hair cut too xD shes sooo cuuuuute now :3

i warst gonna blog abt something else, but all's forgiven and forgotten =P so, i shall do smt else. to all sportsmen out there! actually.. not all. all that play team sports, especially doubles games liek tennis (table or not), and badminton, but to team sports like barsketball or volleyball stuffs. when u play in a team rite, u MUST make ur team members feel needed. you must know them and not just recognise them too.

this is what not to do. just now i was playing tennis with a late-20s to early-30s guy called peter (not his real name). he is really.. wad la. playing doubles, but i felt more like i was an intruder on his singles game against two opponents. when he encourage ppl hes liek talking to himself, and when you encourage him he dao. then he makes a lotta noise when playing.. not that i dont, but his is excessive. and he really dont talk or anything, never call yours or mine, never do anything a proper doubles partner (by my expectations) should do.. he even shouted smt like "okay! i'm losing all the points!" like hes the only one playing.. i mean, hes the one losing the points means i'm the one winning them, and i make good shots is not he encourage ley. its my opponents. so liek, for two matches i kept really quiet. i dont really like him..

yeps. i guess that's it for today. oh yeah..

maths got a1 in prelim. okay.

i will fight again.. unlike what i said before, i will fight harder this time. chinese got b3, oral and listening distinction. doesn't that mean i have half the battle? i guess i got unlucky this time and the compo markers raped me.. but that doesn't mean that the next time the same thing will happen. yes. we shall fight together. four of us in 4-8 died this time, but we shall rise to add to the distinction rate. it will be 100% at the end of the yr. sry for making you guys worry =
i need to work on my compo.. the compo.. argh. it makes me sick whenever i think of it. three times i died in my compo. once in sec 2, which is what made me drop higher chi in the first place. i got wad.. 16/50 for compo? i went off topic like crap. then my eng prelim too.. 15/30 cos i got a blatant irrelevance. i mean, if i dint i'm dam sure i coulda gotten an a2. then now, in my chi o's. darn. nvm. i will train harder and next time i'm more prepared. maybe its a blessing in disguise to give me a b3, cos a few days before my o's i had this bad fever.. dint go sch for 2 days, and it lasted thru the wkend and only subsided on the day of the chi o level itself. maybe i might have gotten lower but i got a b3 instead.

nevermind. i'll fight again this time, and the dead shall walk the land once more.

how could i have forgotten.. two days ago was my blogs 4th month! =D darn. i needta prepare smt for next month..

today got back the emaths paper 1. not magnificent, but not ugly either. mediocre, by my standards though. enough abt that. lucky alice was nice enough to give me that one mark that peck eng dint wanna give me =P or at least peck eng was doubtful. not say she dun wanna give me la.

then we had this gentleman workshop thingy.. was interesting. for instance, 4 -8 , 10 and 11 unanimously voted alvin as PLAYBOY!!! haha... then we got to see him change hairstyle, from some waxed-back hairstyle, to william hung style side parting, then some really weird style xD roflmao.. alvin, see how infamous you are? =D

i also dint know singapore actually had 3 seasons... hot, hotter and hottestest. the speaker was liek.. LAME. but some parts were interesting.. at least. roflmao, alvin... xP

tmr's maths paper 2? think so. oh yeah. CHINESE O LVL TOO. DARN. i dont dare to see my result.. later come back smt like b3p or wad.. i will die lor. let down my 2 chi teachers and tuition teacher. not to mention family and other teachers that want me to score 9 freaking a1s.

tmr they returning emaths prelims.. paper 1 only. /me scared.. i mean, dont get good score for paper 1 = DIE me veeeery scared. someone save me =o then after dat is some "perfect" gentleman workshop. -.-; waste our time again la. i think the lhb very free or smt.. the last day of prelims results is half day chem.. he mite as well shift that chem forward to tmr and cancel that stupid workshop thingy.. but then again.. waste one whole afternoon dont sound liek a bad idea =D

its so hot...... i think i'm gonna die of heatstroke T.T

as promised, i shall fill yall in on the esplanade.

basically, i thought it was disappointing lor. the whitley musical was much more entertaining, tho its band part is not as good as ours. the band's jericho was pretty good, like before. even better than before. but the other song was a bore. the rest were too ordinary or too short (eg. wushu), and the string ensemble made a lot of mistakes while playing.. and the choir performance wasn't as good as last year too.. last year at least like got a story. this yrs one dont even know what they saying.. at most only the circle of life. but then again, the singer's voice so low i cant hear what he saying, and the monkey noises made by mark weren't funny.

ytd was also the first time i heard an all girls choir.. pitch was VERY DAMN HIGH xD a bit ear-piercing, i must say. but the performance of the two choirs in the canteen confusion was cute.. but as all primary sch kids go, they cant arrange themselves properly without adult help. so they were hopelessly off-center.. but like i said, the combined schs choir's performance was cute. u see little kids singing, but that's all.

the finale was. crap. last yr they had the teachers play a piece, then u can see them all dress damn formal and stuff, and take instruments that u never knew u could play.. that yeo poong poh even had an instrument i never even saw before.. its a basoon or smt like that.. not sure the spelling even. then u see chaillan dress like vanessa mae take violin play, look professional. but this years grand finale? birthday song. WTF! it was lame.

imo the whitley's performance was more worth the money.. better performance and it lasted almost 4 hrs. this ours more exp and lasted only 150 mins. but then again, the ambience of ours was much better.. at whitley was like, warm. esplanade temp was just nice, and the view from upstairs also very good. lucky i nv sit downstairs with 2703.. they got pelted with lightsticks after the finale. it was like emergency evac onstage and for the first few rows la. the crazy CO ppl started flinging their lightsticks from the stall according to joel, then everybody followed.

conclusion - disappointing. much worse than last year's..

and then today's national day. also lame. to the point of being even redundant la. it lasted barely over an hour, ending at 8.50. and they keep the sec fours back for speech, which was more entertaining than the stupid national day celebration. seriously.

the whole thing started with the parade, standard stuff. then lee hb came up to give the national day speech. he started by saying the usual good morning gentlemen. then we give him a very weak response, as usual. then he expects us to give a better greeting, so he goes "today is national day, celebration day! you can do better than that." we return him one of equal standard and he goes "yes, that's it. i'm always proud of you." hes becoming really arh. no word in my vocabulary can decribe. also, when u look around and everyone is going to school in home clothes, or at least more comfortable clothes, how can u feel good knowing yer left out hmm? even if everyone is wearing red. i mean, look! whitley, bps, pierce, vjc even cat high primary. and the whole secondary school leh? we're all in the hall in green and white like its st. patricks day.

then prize presentation. they had to get a sec 2 with a dunno what name, sounds thai or malay or smt. they said he's homegrown. then what's to stop him from being able to pronounce the prizewinner's names? it was damn stupid la. 199 out of 200 names he pronounce with difficulty, and 399 out of 400 names he pronounce wrong. it was damn stupid. why cant they just do it the traditional way and get a sec 3 person who can pronounce the freaking names properly and not act gay!? i dont believe it.

after that was community singing. there were two mcs from sec 3. we sang one song, then it thing halted. edwin heng went up to talk abt his band going to holland and scoring a silver there.. then say what, we were disappointed. i mean, DAMN you had better be disappointed. cos it means that two yrs down the road, without ur sec fours, u can kiss ur gold with hons goodbye. they got last in their division in the world music competition. then his speech was soooo centred on failure, making it sound like as if the school got last in the division, not the band. u go and scold ur band la, u get last in the competition so what?! not like as if the tennis team did anyth wrong to you wad.. DUH.

then community singing came back again. this part was more fun. we had 5 drunk mcs this time. they were all sec 3, and they really managed to get the crowd going la. after the 1st song, one of them said "that was a very good effort." was so damn sarcastic lor.. roflmao! at the 2nd song, krishnan pillay came out to encourage us to sing, then he started singing also.. so got cheer. then the mcs all held each other's shoulders and started swaying, and waving their hands in the air that kinda thing.. looked either drunk or gay. it was damn funny la.. then danny tan and denis leong went up to sing also.. dam brave, the two of the. lawrence tan also very sporting la. the mcs called him up and he just went up. at the end of the 4 songs, (after the 3rd, which the mcs promised was the last, pillay said that since there was a request for an encore, they will since another one -.-;) one of the mcs said "thanks teachers, especially mr tan, especially you" then he shook hands with lawrence. walao! the mcs were damn lame la.. but funny too. rui en was soo cute in the mv for reach for the skies =D

after that then the speech day la. prize giving and all that crap. we really showed chung what we could do as a class this time. every single student frm 4-8 got the loudest cheer in the sch lor.. except prolly some of the 4-11 ppl. 4-11 really know how to shout la. then chung went up and receive her 20 yrs teacher in cat high prize and whoa. totally blew her away xD she came down laughing like hell. we stood up to cheer for her.

on a separate note, i would like to thank all my friends that have been there for me, who i have been there for, who i can talk to abt anything i wanna, who i can trust without any fear, who i can have fun with, who i can share secrets with, who i can hang with and not feel left out. if you think you belong here, give urself a pat on the back.

i'm saying that cos i think, at the rate i'm going, i'm gonna offend someone very soon. the thing is i dont think i wanna avoid this situation. so when i offend that person, at least i can look back here and say "hey, i have friends that i can *insert all of the above*"

whoa.. today's papers were just plain. yuck. chem was weird.. the whole paper was decontextualised. never seen before. even the compounds were never heard of. carbon suboxide? c3o2. propan-1,3-dioic acid. potassium hydrogen difluoride.. it was damn fun xD this the kind of paper i like. those that memorise textbook wont survive.. cos i nv even study for it =x

just.. one.. last.. day.. and its i dont care abt studies anymore day!! =DDDDDDDDD i'mma go out and drum until my sticks spoil, then i'll use my hands, then the machine will spoil. then i'l have lunch at macs and ruin the place, and i'll play lan and spoil their comps. then i'll come home and blast the music until neighbours complain, then i'll land up in a police cell for the night. yup. its gonna be fun. =D

if you would refer to my 11/3/05 entry, you mite see another situation where i encountered. similar to this, only this is, imo, worse. much worse.

like i said before, its the little things that people do that make or break your day. and i wanna say it again. its the little things that people do that break my day. if someone jumps out in front of you with a knife and threatens to kill you unless u give him ur money, and if u manage to apprehend them, you dont feel bad, or angry at the person. at least not as much as if someone just makes a tiny little gesture that shows you that you're not even so much as in that person's considerations. in both cases you lose nothing, and the gesture in the second is much more subtle. but you will feel worse if the latter happens. you will. i'd like it if i was showed a little courtesy, thankew. i mean, when u make decisions u consider how others would feel, or what trouble you will cause them, especially if the person is directly involved. i dont like what you did. not one bit. i had my worries, and you knew. you just ignored it? whatever. okay? whatever. i know one thing more about you know. i dont like you. i prolly wont respect you anymore either.

its stuff like this that tells you alot about people. its like, a few months back u think you know this person pretty well. then this person gets familiar with you, then starts doing things that was never ever done in your presence before. they may be tiny things, but if i notice them then too bad, i've just lowered your rating. then you start to really dislike this person. that is what is happening to me now. i only learnt it too late, i suppose.

its time to rearrange my inner circle. someone gets kicked out, and i let others in.

geog paper was a big mess.. they forgot to post up the seating plan, so guess what happens? chaos la xD no one knows where to sit. lucky our initiativeful ccb went to ask suah for teh seating plan, so we knew where to sit.

geog paper was okay, but physics paper really no standard.. too easy. its like, o level stuff, only the qns are phrased in a diff way. was expecting smt harder =\ ac generator and dc motor also dint come out.. those two are imo the part that most ppl cant do, so this test really giving us marks. except prolly one or two parts, like explain what linearity means.. "the thermometer has a scale that demonstrates linearity" yeah. need to think a bit, this one. but i think.. the rest very standard ba. this one i think a lot of ppl can score.

diablo ii lod 1.11 is out! yeps, just for anyone who's still playing that game xD

hm.. tmr is a maths paper 2 >< phy paper 1 too. day after is history then chem paper 2.. friday chem and bio paper 1. OMG! THAT MEANS.. THREE DAYS LEFT!!! only 3 days.. muz ren3! my eyes were shutting during the geog paper, btw. =s
