anw, today i had my drum lesson again. just as i made my decision so stay on with the course, bad news smacked us in the face. our teacher wun be available until like mid nov. so means change teacher, change date or die. and the problem is tt they haf no free instructors during my slot. so its change date. but i'm nt free during all the other days. argh. dunno wad to do.

dont make claims without substantiating them. u do not say that i avoid your questions without proof. and when i do, i have my reasons. u ask, fine. i give u a reason. u ask about the reason, fine. u dont ask abt the reason, but keep ur thoughts inside urself and let them grow to a size tt is roughly abt the size of ur head, then when it all boils over, its too late. ask me abt it and i will kill u.

not wanting to repeat wad i said abt taisetsunamono to u is, in my opinion fully justified. i'd waste saliva, and u still wldn understand. drummer's terms, you hear? u wldn understand. esp cos its drummania only. u've never played the game, u'd never understand. u dont know the song by name, even worse.

ah. a messed up audition.

alas, who do we have to blame but ourselves. *back to modern english* i tink we needed more practice. it was like the first time tt some of us were playing boulevard of broken songs.. kinda traumatic. haha. esp since we went offbeat like dunno how many million times.

but still.. all those that came down to support were really nice. shubha, phoebe. sumyutha, ryan, alethea, charlyn, avril.. too many to list. haha. (sorry if i missed u =x) and i know u all were just being nice, but yeah, sometimes it doesnt hurt to be honest. haha =x i tink we din do as well as u said we did. =x but really. it was really heartwarming to see so many ppl there just to watch us play. and i'm really sorry for the messed up performance ^^;

but yeah. it was kinda messed up. i tink it wld be a miracle if we get past this audition. but miracles do happen.

today i stepped into the studio in yamaha. studio 6, yamaha plaza singapura.

it just occurred to me today that it could be one of my last lessons here. cos i dunno if i wanna stay and continue with the 2nd book, or leave as they start it. its a hard choice.. yeah.

book 2 is a really cool book. the stuff inside is like. hard. which makes it much more of a challenge than little book 1. so its gonna be so much more fun. our teacher even said tt he has a problem with some parts of the book. which makes it all the more intriguing.

and i like my class too. its a small class of 4, and even tho we all dont speak (yeah. its kinda erm. anti. haha) we can somehow enjoy the class together through our music. we learn frm each other through our mistakes, watch each other's beautiful fills and all that stuff. and that girl at the back is pretty cute too. ahem. er. nevermind that. but yeah.

but its a sunday. many people have free days on sunday, which makes it kinda hard for me to put meetings for projects on sunday. so basically, my sunday is out. and since my parents bring me to PS about 99% of the time, i tink its really bothering them. even tho my mum is really supportive and says tt she uses the time to go shopping, and fetching me back and forth is really not a problem. i havent spoken to my dad yet. haha.

yeahh.. its a hard choice. drumming is my passion. giving up the course may be.. like. one of the most regretted decisions i make. but there are reasons for me to leave too. blarg.

successful morning matches and successful jamming. x))

so first off - past vs present.

its SO nuts la. they din just call players frm last yr or two yrs ago. they like called freaking uncles along. and these uncles arent ordinary uncles. they're COACHES!! liek omgz. uber 'rape-with-std'ness. but still there were a few weaker players. hahaha. yeah. it was so fun. and omg they catered breakfast for us. the occasion was actually quite formal la. virginia cheng even had a presentation in lt1 abt the achievements of njc or smt like tt. everyone went! liek omgz again. i ponned. hahaha

but yeah. its super fun playing against really strong opponents. i can like whack real hard at hard balls and still get them to go in. sometimes. haha. and when i lose, i can say tt i tried my best to counterattack but they were too good. =x

jamming.

all i can say is tt my band RAWKS. SUPER rawks. (even tho they cldn reach my place on time =x) we played so many songs and its like. we like everything. so theres 3 songs tt we can play tmr. (but we gotta choose one. ARGH.) and if we get into grad nite we may play 3 songs. boulevard, somewhere only we know and JESUS OF SUBURBIA!!! hahaha. awesome 9 minute song with a solo part for each instrument. R0X0RS.

and ben even delayed his exit by like. 2 hrs. hahaha. stanley delayed his by half an hr. so cool la. and today we realised tt chriselle can do punk too. AWESOMEness. hahaha. and STAN!! u gonna teach me guitar k. hahaha. we exchange. i teach u drums and u teach me guitar. haha. =D

we're so gonna haf another jamming session soon. better than stoning off at home or in sch. hahaha

todays ki symposium was.. er. fun to some extent. haha

it reminded us all abt the fun times we had in ki class. like um. the time we followed the internet signal to the library.. mr dio looked so stupid. he was carrying his laptop like some tracking device and making those bleeping sounds.. hahaha. then when we finally found the signal, it was at the library! haha. funness. x)

the soon after that also.. we were talking abt the falsifiability of science knowledge. then emile asked mr dio if maybe, wld it be possible tt one day all our science stuff is just rendered wrong and sent into the dumps. when he replied with a yes, she like screamed. hahha. uber funness.

and the way we made fun of yun rui. no wait. we dint rmb that.

i'm in a weird, reflective, tinking-deep kinda mood today. so, heres my 2nd blog entry in 2 hrs. hahaha.

anw, i'm tinking back on smt tt happened quite early this morning, and on smt tt i was told on er. wed nite i tink. i was told twice tt i haf an admirer from a certain cca of a certain ip level. which sorta got me tinking. for some weird reason. haha

okay. before i say anyth, i gotta disclaim tt these views are generally generalisations. yeah. tts generalisation to the power 2. or generalisation squared. or whatever. and also tt i do not know this certain ip kid. my words are not meant to strike at anyone. no malicious intent whatsoever, even if it may appear to be.

so. i was just tinking. these 'admirers'.. they like people based on what these people look like..? tts kinda superficial imo. if u like the way a person looks, grab a photo or smt. i was just tinking. if a relationship starts between an admirer and an admired, wad happens when the 'admired' *touch wood* runs into an accident or smt and gets badly scarred across the face..? does tt little reason mean the relationship is over? or one day, when u get bored of the person's looks, does tt mean its time to 'change'?

hm. these few days have been eventful but VERY boring. blarg. its so boring tt i dont even feel like staying awake most of the time. like boring. blarg. suddenly ff2 isn so fun anymore. maybe i shd chiong it to completion and then get onto ff6 advance.

ice skating again today! this time we went early in the morning. but by lunchtime it got so crowded it wasn fun. blah. but hey, there was still tt 1030 to 1130 period tt was quite empty and still super fun. x)

firstly, happy bdae to the country tt gave me 17 yrs of super fun! haha. i like totally missed ndp this year. but meh. its getting kinda old. =x

anw, today was teh super cool cousins' outing. haha. went cycling then spent the whole day at home and downstairs playing stuff and blah. i wont elaborate. haha. but it was super fun. x)

tmr going ice skating again! haha. with my cousins again. hahaha. i swear my cousins are fun ppl. =x but sometimes i feel really childish around them. cos they're mostly around sec 2 to 3.

oh yeah. and thanks so much to everyone tt was so enthu in supporting us.. haha. esp 05A02 (i tink? hahha. tt was guanyou's class. they went down to support us la. so cool) and i tink some of the ex-aerius councillors also. haha. and definitely my 06s14. haha. altho i gotta admit, i cldn hear ur cheers cos ignis was seated so far away. but i'll take ur word for it tt u screamed. haha. (who did the cockroackes? =D) and last but definitely the most, thanks to my 4 great band members. haha. we all rocked. like totally. x)

tho i gotta say. i'm pretty disappointed tt ignis din win the cup. but ah. i guess i cant really blame anyone. i guess the one i shd blame is myself eh. heh =x. we shall fight on for next year.

oh, btw, i heard tt this year they haf record-high attendance for an ndc. haha. and i heard tt half of acjc wasnt in sch. LOL. =x

so, on to the post ndc celebrations. haha.

it was a fun outing with the xs21 ppl. x) but only so few of those nt in nj came. =\ but anw, alex zhang, jerrine and jaclyn came. so nice of them. haha. i wun really elab abt the outing cos it was kinda standard. but ARGH lousy canoeist make us wait for her until like 8 plus. blarg. haha. u know which lousy canoeist. infact, i tink i only know one female canoeist. hm. yeah. i tink so. no wait. i know another one also. but she's nt the one i'm talking abt. haha.

yeah. lousy canoeist make us wait for her until 8 plus to ice skate. i tink by then alex wanna cry alr. haha. but yeah. we still went to ice skate in the end, and we still had loads of fun. anw, while waiting for the canoeist we had to stone. so i had a major arcade chionging session with jerrine. haha. she like improved so much la. coolio. and i learnt tt i can play taisetsunamono and rolling1000toon on 10x speed with dark turned on. haha. funz0r. x) then when the others went to watch the fast and the furious we din wanna watch. so we went to the jurong east regional lib to stone. haha. seriously stone. actually is just talk alot. nv read much at all. haha.

then went skating. super fun la. tt alex is DAMN gd at skating. and i really mean damn gd at it. u gotta see it to believe it, but he really got all the stunts and stuff cut. he's awesome. oh yeah and did i mention tt his bdae is like in one minute..? (notice the time of this blog post at the bottom. haha) he like taught me how to stop properly. and he also taught jason how to skate. the poor guy was so enthu. until we learnt tt he never rollerbladed nor skated before. =x but yeah. he learnt real quick. in half an hr he was cruising along with the rest of us. haha.

so lucky. no blister. =x

then on the way back took 52 with that lousy canoeist. haha. had a nice lighthearted chat with her. but some of the stuff we talked abt got me thinking. haha. but yeah. maybe its just a misunderstand on their part. they dont know me. so tell them not to judge me yea? haha. =x

to all who may ask, today i gelled my hair up cos i din wanna get into sharon phua's blackbk yet. its nt cos i'm some vain metro dude tt wants to look gd on stage. i mean, its so trivial. haha. i'll wanna look gd tmr tho.

yep, this is it. tmr is my performance. hope i dont mess up. today i played 3 times and din mess up. therefore, by induction i wun mess up tmr.

watch out for my solo part k. its gonna last abt 10 seconds and it comes in at the 17th bar after the song starts. tt effectively means abt 30 seconds after the song starts, before the first verse.

and i've been doing some reflection today. and i decided tt for tmr i'll be super enthu for ignis. i mean, i've been in noel house for 4 years in cat high, and my house never won nothing. except when i was sec 3 we took almost all the 1st places for the inter-house sports championships. but yeah. we never took the challenge trophy. i want this to change. i knw its abit selfish, but i want ignis to win cos at least i'll haf smt to look back on. i never had much fun in noel, tts why i despise the house system. but maybe its time to change. maybe i shd put aqua and antaios behind me and let the ignis spirit shine. yeah. i want ignis to win the ne cup. not aqua. not terra.

i added music to my blog again. hahaha. it was getting abit quiet around here so i decided to put *ahem ahem* SAYONARA SOLITAIRE!! hahaha. sayonara solitaire. one of the songs i still totally love, and which i still tink is my favourite, but i dun really listen to much now. its kinda weird. i like a little pain less than sayonara solitaire, but i tend to listen to it more often. haha. but yeah. sayonara soilitaire is a beautiful piece. but erm. doesnt fit the theme of my skin. =x

so. its a usual boring saturday with nothing to blog abt. except for the fact tt i slept in the afternoon and had no dreams at all. and tt i'm still tired now. haha. i'm still tired!! blarg. i mus haf been sleeping too late thru the wk. next wk got loads of time to slp late le. uberness. x)

my IRIR band totally rocked just now. haha. but erm. i screwed up my 4-bar solo. =xbut arh. screwups are expected during rehearsals de. tts why its a rehearsal - to detect mess-ups and correct them later on. so yeah. hope i dun mess up my first ever solo during a performance. haha

but honestly.. i'd rather play with stan and band so much more.

I CANT BELIEVE TT THEY KICKED US OUT OF BATTLE OF THE BANDS JUST COS WE PLAYED WAKE ME UP WHEN SEPTEMBER ENDS. basket. wad, too slow for u huh? too boring? damnit. i'm still really pissed abt this. esp cos i heard today tt we were kicked cos we played wake me up when september ends for the audition. cos its a slow song. cos its boring. basket.
