i just learnt another lesson in life today.. and this one was really surprising for me. i learnt today that..

people just looooooooove to defy orders.

and i dont just mean it in a negative sense too.. people just defy.. whatever the order is. even if it is given in goodwill. lemme show ya what happened today.. we were doing some chemistry paper.. i tink its the band prelim. so we did all the qns, and llp went thru after each one, except. except!! the organic chem question. so llp was like "dont do already. take a break.. if you do alot now then just before ur paper on the 18th u get bored then very bad." i looked around the class.. and i was like, omg. almost noone stopped. i had to say "most" cos some ppl just went to sleep. yaknow.. *coughcoughchinacoughcough* so anw, yeah! no one stopped.. most of us just finished the paper in the time llp ask us to stop doing. o.o;

so a reminder to teachers out there - if ur students like ur subject, and u make them do the paper halfway, u can say "take a break.. stop doing" and expect them to continue for at least a few more qns. muarhar.. this is so kewl. but of course.. for ppl like erm. dunno la. for teachers whose students hate their subs.. too bad. they cfm stop de xD

oh yeah, and guess wad. i have a sorethroat, and know what i had for dinner? MACDONALDS!!! haha.. next monday dunnid take prelim le!! DUNNID STUDY!!! xD

okay. i'll be writing a book.. Arguing 101.. i'll give all my beloved readers a sneak peek =P

1. when arguing with someone, make sure that your argument holds water. dont say something for the sake of saying it.. remember that in an argument its hard to prove anything right, but its really easy to prove something wrong. just to give ya an example.. you're feeling all pissed and stuff, and you are arguing.. then you go "i was about to tell you how much i appreciated you, but u had to come tell me this." i mean, come on.. when you're in a bad mood like that you think you'd even feel like talking to anyone? obviously a trick to make someone feel guilty,

2.choose your words wisely. there are many stands to take during an argument, (you wanna hurt this person, or you wanna keep the relationship going etc.) so you need the correct words to bring out the correct effect. if you really wanna hurt someone without touching him, then use sarcasm and really harsh language. just to give ya an illustration - "i dint appreciate some of your comments." "no. make it all of your comments." just look at that!! he'll start crying at some point xD you could also show this person your purpose, so that he finally knows what you want and he'll just back away in tears.. or maybe a broken arm or two =P something like this "scorpios are really good actors, and all my kindness has been either faked, or reluctant. i just hate you." OMG. haha.. they'll definitely die. but on the other hand, if u wanna give in so that the friendship is not broken. you shld use words that have sincerely apologetic meanings, and during the argument rest your weight on your back leg and use milder words. "i never really intended to do that.."

3.this point is strictly for hurting ppl only. when you wanna just kill the person, use his words against him. lets say, he says this - "women are damn fuckin annoying." and lets say yer a woman xD you can use his own line against him in the form of sarcasm so that he's left speechless and you have a big hole to pummel through. so later when he says "even if i tell you wou wouldn't understand." then you could say "yeah, cos women are so damn fuckin annoying that we just wouldn't listen. oh wait. add onto the list that they're stupid too." then when he's all O.O; and stuff, you go in for the kill. "remember. i'm a good actor. i never liked you. EVER." then he's gone. muarhar.

4. this one the most important.. if you wanna kill, always insist that you're correct. "but wad i say is true wad. women are damn annoying." and if you wanna heal, consider the other party's mentality before considering yours.. "come to think abt it.. you could be right."

oh.. and did i mention that point 2 and 3 have an even greater effect on close friends? yeah. just so you know.

well, that's abt it. for today. better not tell you guys so much abt my tactics.. if not later you all start beating me in arguments i die le xD

ITS A MIRACLE!!!! today's double period chung nv explode. yathink its finally over? maybe. maybe not. we shall see. oh. and something she said struck me.. after 14th oct we wont be meeting as a class anymore..? so that means from 14th oct cat high is history? argh.. i dont wanna leave! i have less than a month left here.. gah. so many memories and i gotta leave them behind..

fun times.. today after school was "relive your childhood" day! llp finished going thru the chem prac (which i did very well ^^;) in 30 mins and gave us the other 20 mins to spend at our whim and fancy. so how? ccb takes out his gameboy (handphone). and i followed suit. soon yen shan took it to play the pokemon trading card game and jeremy requested the program from ccb.. then i sent them crystal.. wahhaa.. damn fun. llp saw us playing, even came over to watch, but he dint stop us =D

but this will end in a month...

gomen, gomen! ytd nite my connection was like.. dieded. dl anime only going at 10kbps.. so i tried to blog. and what happens? slow connection + slow blogger = 404 error =\ (connection timed out. no ACKs received so client assumes server is not responding, and it gives a 404.) well, i did try =P

ytd was a very normal sch day.. except err. chung again. -.-; i shall try to give a short account of a part of the lecture she gave us ytd.

i just came back from the most inspiring tennis match ever.. really learnt a lot from it.

first of all.. you really cant judge a book by its cover (/me guilty of that once more ^^;) wen u see smone rite. dun judge immediately.. wait for a time when u and this person are alone so u can talk to this person and penetrate his outer shell. but i'm not saying that this person's performance in a grp is not impt la. i know someone, who now i avoid being in a group with cos i realised that ___ can forget ___ place and get really insensitive. anw, yeah. give people 2nd and 3rd chances.. noone's actually bad xD

so, if you would refer to my august 14th page.. that guy peter that i'm talking abt is the guy that i was playing against jus now. u know, some ppl just dont talk well in a grp. u know la, that kind loner de. budden they will talk when u talk to them yaknow? i guess it just takes a bit of effort and this person will really talk.. and talk in a way that is really like, whoa. i never knew that before. the way he explained my flaws to me in my game was seriously ar, more detailed than any coach has ever explained to me before. (paiseh la, my coaches, but its true ^^;) it was so like, true to the point that it was inspiring. the second set i play against him rite. when i took his advice really got improvement. instant results! =D

so like i was saying. i needa learn to gif ppl more chances before i judge them.. if not really ar. i'd be missing a lot of stuff. you should too =P

around 5 we decided.. abit boring le. so we grabded the mahjong set, take 2 other ppl and go play. but the other 2 ppl dunno how to mahjong de. so mus teach. we decided to go to some aircon rm play... so we setting up that time suddenly frm behind "i'm sorry, but you cannot play your mahjong here." wah seh! XUXU! U SAY CAN PLAY THERE!! roflmao... it was actually a study area!! haha.. wtf, we makin so much noise, haven even start playing liao got ppl complain.. seriously la xD so we decided to move to the poolside table like we did last time.. then the guard follow us tell us cannot play there also -.-; so we go back to kq's bursting living rm and play on the floor.

around 6 err. 6 plus la xD danny tan come liao. fyi, hes the teacher in charge. then he was like.. "OH MY GOD! what on earth are you doing?!" then he went to mervin and said "cannot win la!" i tot he was gonna be like.. "no gambling! GEDDOUT!" xD dam funny lor..

u know rite, is damn fun to psycho ur teacher until he give u hints for the prelim paper.. i wuz like "so wads the format for the prelim 2 ss?" then he say is structured essay onli. then i say "orh!! mus chiong venice le." and he say "the questions wont repeat themselves..." then xuxu say "orh. so mus be good governance la!!" then danny say "tts not wad i meant.. o.o;" DAMN FARNIE LA!!

ard 7 we went down to prepare the fire.. as usual the sec 4s were slackkckking around wif danny. around 8 we were starting to eat and stuffs. so i ate. o.o; then you jin, the new captain went mad. he jump into the swimming pool after being chased by julian.. then er.. i tink one of the sec 2s, cant rmb which one. go mad and dump the WATERMELON into the pool!!! wtf la.. was damn funny la!! see you jin inside frolicking around with the watermelon.. that we were gonna eat later.. walau eh xD

oh ya. the food was great.. but one batch of chicken wings came out.. grey. they were GREY!!!! xDDDD how u cook chicken wings until grey de.. ppl cook is red red still drippin with blood but danny cook until it turned grey.. walau eh xD

xu tomm and i went to play at the fountains later.. was dam fun.. and wet. you jin.. i'll get you for that O.O; wanted to take a pic budden lighting not good.. even with flash also cannot see the thingy. we went back for dessert ard 9.. was danny's classic choc fondue again xD every year without fail sure haf de. and everyone looking forward to it. cos its so damn sweet until even with water also the sweetness wun go down xD it was greater that last yr even. walau.. best time of the whole bbq sia. there was also a brownie cake, but that ranked 2nd to the fondue.. wanna haf a look at the cake? this (click me!) is wad it looked like after we were done with it.. look at it!! GREEN!! xD actually its the lighting.. the cake wasn't actually green. lols. but it was great, nonetheless.. brownie cake and chocolate fondue together.. i think god will punish me for this uber-sin lor xD

today was supposed to be round one of the intercon tournament.. but rain whole day, so postpone to friday 7.30. damn heng.. my doubles partner having muscle pains cos ytd go gym he overwork himself xD

jus now i was playing table tennis with stan's bro.. p3 boy. i was like, thinking. how ar. either way i win or lose also bad. look at it this way.. if i lose, its losing to a p3. i mean, LOSING TO A 9 YEAR OLD!! o.o; but he's tat kind train 3 times a week de la. then if i win him.. is considered bully a 9 year old. so you see la. how? so peeps.. never EVER play against someone that is half ur age. cos u win or lose, either way also lose. =\ its like that one ar.. the AVP slogan. whoever wins, we lose o.o;

after tat rite.. i come out.. hear a cat mewing. at first i thought is a catfight la, always hear this kind of ting de. but then hear a bit more rite. realise is not the usual hoarse screams. its more like.. crying. so i walk around and look.. and WTF. i see a little kitten in a AVA trap. seriously, wtf. the thing was mewing since i started tennising, and it never stopped. got another black cat in the background mewing back at it.. but it scared. wei. look at is this way la. how would u like it if someone trapped ur kid, kept it in that cage overnite, then next day just tip the whole cage out and grab him by the neck, then drag him to some orphanage and claim that he's homeless?? then these ppl will do one of two tings to your kid. best case is sterilise and wait for ppl to adopt. which will prolly never happen. worst case, cull. WTF LA. seriously. i cant stand for this okay. u see a cat in a cage crying at u with its damn huge eyes.. u just wanna save it. budden theres some ppl out there who just cant stand cats. want to see them DIE. argh. its just damn cruel la. fuck the ava ppl that do this to the cats. not like they causing a nuisance rite. its not like as if they hurt anyone or stole anything. is it wrong to take up residence in our condo? not to mention that its a young cat la. you breeching a kid's trust okay. its like giving a kid candy laced with sleeping drugs, then when hes unconscious u just take him away. btw, u know what they used to lure the cat? a can of cat food. that was CLOSED. so you wanna recycle it huh. dont even wanna let the cat have its final meal while it awaits its judgement?

this world needs more warmth. or maybe i'm generalising. the fucking AVA needs to reflect. they claim they helping sg ppl. but wad abt the animals? ever heard of animal rights, u bitches?!

today was my brother's 1st rd singles! won some singh guy 7-6 6-2.. nt bad. hes in the second round.

so yesterday something really weird happened to me. someone said "come, let big brother hug you *hugx*" and i was like. wtf. then about 15 mins later another person went "come, let big sister hug you *hugx*" -.-;; it kept me awake the whole nite okay. but i was just thinking.. having a big brother/sister ain't a bad idea.. cos got someone take care of you.. arh. i'm getting soft =

today was teh chem prac exam.. when i see the titration wanna scream la. wad kinda crap titration is this?! o.o; i tot this kind of ting only for the stupid practises only? how come prelim come out?! i think if cambridge set this paper i'll fly there whack them la.. i describe.

the titration is that one ar.. err. measure volumes of HCl and NaOH then put in cup measure temperature rise de. we use 4 values, get 4 readings. then plot graph.. omg so physics. then plot graph that time draw two lines, see intersection point, then take x value go and calculate concentration of unknown Q. see? crap rite. i wanna play the phenolph..thingy lor... ^^;

then come the qa. this one more fun. gives us one solid sample, which looked abit like flour, and make solution, then test solution and solid. the solution tests were more standard.. except got two tests a bit screwy. one is put FeCl2 and then warm gently.. if warm too gently then will change colour no ppt. if warm longer a bit then got ppt no change colour. screwed rite. then the other one is add CuSO4, then wrm also. same ting, warm a bit then change colour, warm longer then colour no change but got ppt come out. or so jeremy was telling me larh. so dunno lor..

the test on solid damn fun. first part is take the solid and BURRRRNNNNNN!!!!!!!!!

*ahem* heat strongly =P they also say while heating put a lighted splint at the testtube mouth. so i was thinking.. maybe got a pop or the splint just die or smt.. dunno. so i heated the ting with a flame that was err.. almost reaching the ceiling, and put the lighted splint. at first see the solid turn grey, like melting like that.. but the lighted splint got nothing leh. only the mouth there abit yellow only.. so i record la. then do the second part, which was to add HCl to the cooled residue from the first part. got CO2. then i see clock, still haf 20 mins, so i go redo the solid that part. except this time there was a catch.. i use the whole bottle (actually wad is that ar.. is not a bottle, not a cup.. wadever la o.o;) and heat with the damn big flame again.. (i just love BURRRNNNing things xP) this time round got something to see.. i put the lighted splint at the mouth, then i see the flame the shape a bit like.. off. like hugging the test tube like that. then i remove the thing.. wah seh. the flame burning at the mouth of the test tube xD

conclusion i write calcium, carbon, oxygen. anyone can confirm this for me? ^^;

woah.. one chem prac can write so much.. o.o; i guess that's it for today. i slept the whole afternoon away, fyi =P

today's teachers' day! so lemme say once again, happy teachers' day to everyone out there! i dont care, cos i call everyone mothers too!! =P

guess what i'm doing now. the login server for ro is dead, and i'm inside the server.. that means... i'm one of 8 lucky ppl to be in the server now!! haha. i can solo mvps!!.. .. that is. if my high wiz can take the damage o.o; maybe i shld try dracula.

hm. its a holiday and i spent the whole day at home doing nothing.. is that a sin? ^^; some ppl asked me out and i rejected them in favour of slacking at home... bleah. dunno what i'm doing nowadays xD perfect opportunity to go drumming and i say "NO!" =
tomorrow's chem prac.. titration and qa. stupid qa table.. at least they will give us tmr.. so dunnid memorise =P means chem prac quite easy get very high.. titration on average 90% of the class get full marks, and for qa, with a qa table by my side nothing can go wrong.. right? unless my chemicals are contaminated larh. see the sulphuric acid got white ppt inside.. lols. braium sulphate!! or is it sulfate? i think british and american spelling rite. one sulphur and the other is sulfur.. hm. think cambridge will accept american eng?

once again, i reiterate that the inspiring teachers' is causing more problems that solving them. look at this excerpt from bryan's blog.

its about anna tan. see la. its really true that the good teachers aren't getting the votes they deserve. look at ppl like daniel ling.. can get twice? impossible lor. abolish the inspiring teacher's award!!!
