ah. such a pleasant day today.

i cant help but tink tt this first day of the wk has proven to be so much better than the previous wk. even tho so many ppl are saying tt i look really angry, or stone etc. but yeah. its been a great day.

nth much abt sch to talk abt. so i shall skip to the badminton tingy. well, sijing and i won the semifinal match to get into the finals. but this statement is only true if won means lost, semifinal means first, and into the finals means out of the competition. hahaha.

anw, i was pleasantly surprised on my way back. appears tt some ppl in NJ are more daring than i tot. or at least alex influenced me to tink. haha.

a failed farewell, but a successful guys' team outing.

it seemed like it was gonna rain, so we decided to use plan B. cancel sentosa and postpone the event. it will prolly be in december after a levels and PW and all tt crap. after cancelling, we went to spizza for lunch, then after tt it was pool at paradiz all the way.

did quite little today tho. i just proved further tt this wk is a terrible wk for me. also discovered some open politics happening in the girls' team involving the seniors vs the juniors. really kinda bad.

anw, abt the battle of the bands thing. i cant help but see how apt my blogskin is. me wo samasu youni, let me see where we had gone wrong. dare mo inai, none of you would understand. no need to cry, or it's over.

its just wrong k. just wrong. but i cant say tt the judges cant appreciate music since slow music really is boring. i cant sat that k? cos if i do i'll be hung frm a tree and shot with a double barrelled shotgun. but yeah. since slow music is boring maybe we shd all start removing boring songs like sayonara solitaire, and a little pain, and wake me up when september ends from our playlists.

its weird why i wish so much to blog, but once i put my blog back on the public sector i lose my mood to blog =x

big event of the day - AUDITIONS!!! haha

we totally rocked the stage k. i tink we did even better than when we had amos in the band. this is SOOO cool. hahaha. know wad, we're nt even into the ting yet and we're alr prepared to perform on the day. haha. oh man. i shall tell everyone tmr if we get in. infact, we'll definitely get in. its just a matter of when. hahaha. ah. hopefully my bubble wun be burst along with all these super high, super optimistic statements. =x

but seriously. our wake me up when september ends TOTALLY rocked the stage. we RULED!! haha. i tink we wld lose out to the band with gerrard (spelling?) the hobbit guy in it. oh man that band totally rocked. but i cant help but tink.. most of the drummers there quite cmi. like tempo off, rolls sound like 5 or 7 notes in the span of 4. one band's guitarist even messed up and stopped playing, and searched for his chords, then continued all of a sudden. and he was leading the band, not their drummer. so wrong man. the whole band stopped. i mean, just continue and get along with it! u dont stop playing jus cos one guy messed up. u cover up for him and make it sound natural! o.o;

so like, katlyn did the solo EXTREMELY well. haha. no messups even tho the amp was messed up. but yeah. katlyn rocked the audience with the solo part. stan's beginning parts were awesome. so emo. so.. argh. so EVERYTHING!! hahaha. he just has the emo thing cooked properly. he can play. and he can make his playing look REALLY good. and chriselle. omg. awesome vocals. AWESOME. i tink she cld go replace greenday's vocalist. i dunno his name tho. haha

airbus was cool too. their vocalist jumped around on stage like a madman and like. kicked his shoe off. hahaha. even tho he cldn sing tt well, he looked hyper on stage. tts the kind of vocalist i like. sorta like ronin's lavine (spelling? =x) their guitarist was also awesome. he like, din mess up at all with all the chords. totally cool.

so like, the next song we gonna play (if when we get into the finals) is the buoldvard of broken dreams remix. the one with coldplay and aerosmith and all those people. hahaha.

so watch out for us on 8th aug, DONT PON SCH THAT DAY K!!?!? hahaha. i'm also gonna do a guest performance with amos, cil, grace and tina. we gonna do those national day songs again. heh =x

i MUST blog abt today. haha.

(not-so) early morning, wake up go sch. went to some moral home place in henderson road? the prize presentation was gonna be conducted there. we arrived half an hr late. at 12pm. and guess wad? it hasn even started yet. we waited until like 1230 before the guest of honour arrived. blarh.

we won some special effort award tingy. three hundred bucks. and we aint getting a cent. anw, enuff abt that. haha. wad i find funny is tt its worth more than the 3rd placing prize. and we were the only jc tt won anything. haha. and we were the only band also.

and we were spotted!! the ppl there asked us if they cld send us invitations to future competitions or to help out in the event tt they need performances. coolio. x))

so like. the place was all the way near harbourfront and i had no idea how to get home. and as i know, i'm terrible with roads. so i went to the nearest busstop and waited. then a 131 came. and i saw tt it passed thomson road along its route. so immediately i linked it to 'near shaun's house'. so i took. later, to my horror, i realised tt it was thomson road. not upp. thomson road. i ALWAYS get these two mixed up. so before i knew it i was stuck somewhere in whampoa. *blarg* i was effectively lost. hahaha.

lucky i quickly sorted out where thomson road was and went back. but ah. getting lost is fun. hahaha. maybe one day i shd blindfold myself and get onto a random bus and get off at a random far-away busstop and find my way back. =x

twas a fun day. but the night wasnt as fun. two nights ago i had a dream. which is wad i tink, the closest to a nightmare tt any of my other dreams haf been. but i wun say here. haha.

i like my blogskin so much tt i cant keep my eyes off it. x)) the feeling is sorta the same as the fatal fallacy (which is not in my history since i accidentally deleted it), the purple one and its raining outside. ah. i like my skins. =DD maybe i shd submit some of them onto blogskins.com and i mite be on some top lists. haha =x i hope. =x

tmr is the prize presentation for the IRIR singing competition! i hope we take smt. but as i said before, we mite nt get anyth cos the judges dint like us, however much they enjoyed our performance. argh. old farts. hehe.

i play my first friday night magic today! and died really badly. hahaha. lost in the first round 2-0. which is quite direct. i tink the first match ended in 10 mins. the second i gave a gd fight tho. x) rong 'en got real far. like semi finals. but i mean, since theres only 3 rounds then semifinals wld mean top half la. but still its a cool achievement. i never seen him play like that before. so yeah. only constructed for me. i dont like draft. too pressure. hahaha =x

okay. so like half the class was there to hear me screw up. hahaha

actually it wasn that bad of a screwup. but since i was instructed to play loud and since the messup involved one whack each of the crash and the bass, yeah. it was really obvious. hahaha. after tt i was soo scared tt i din dare to do anyth risky for the 'home' segment. hahaha.. chan mali chan i was like filling using thirds like nobody's business. so fun x))

so. here comes the post on teh harmonica and angklung concert ytd.

in a short sentence, i tink the angklung was cooler than the harmonica, and that the crazy angklung conductor is super cool/funny/wadduh. hahaha.

i thot tt the first and last songs were the best. apachi and wave of hope, i tink. awesome. they called for an encore at the end and they played apachi again. but i wanted the wave of hope!!! hahaha. the angklung ppl had guest performers. i tink the guy doing the flute is awesome. damn nice la the way he play. me jealous. =x still rmb wad jason and i were talking abt. 'theres style in not doing anything while playing.' hahaha. he dint even move a muscle while he played. but there was smt abt that which made him look cool. the angklung songs were also nice in comparison to the harmonica songs.

but erm. i haf smt mean to say abt the harmonica ppl. hahaha. actually just one. their drummer. yeah. she has all the cool rolls and stuff (i crazy want the score for her fills. hahaha) but um. i tink her tempo quite off. she went off quite a number of times. kinda audibly. yeah. kinda wasted a couple of songs.

in all the concert was cool. hahaha. I NEED TO DOWNLOAD APACHI AND WAVE OF HOPE!!! blarg. but cannot find on limewire. >.>

prerelease yesterday!!!

i reached home at abt 1030 so i din bother to blog abt it. hahaha. so i shall do so now. =DD

it was arguably a highly anticipated event. but i heard tt the cards in the set were terrible. i just had to go have a look myself. haha. so yeah. it was disappointing. apart frm a few cards like lightning serpent, commandeer, some dragon dude, some wurm.. but yeah.

i tink everyone was playing forest. who has ever heard of a prerelease event running out of forests?! and not to mention tt 3 of 4 matches i played were against green/xxxx decks. i tink it shd be pretty similar for others.

i took home 9.5 boosters and $88.50 ytd. haha. after selling cards, anw. i felt obliged to split the cash with my brother. so yeah.

i won 1, lost 2 and had one draw. haha. so i'm slightly below the pass grade. but its my first. so i shall try harder again in september for time spiral. i doubt i'd buy many coldsnap boosters. i dun really like the set. or at least wad i'm seeing of it now.

so. today was teh pw interview tt we've been planning for.. hm. maybe 4 days? haha. turned out well tho.

i haf to say tt yuquan's teacher was a treasure trove of information. she even told us some of xmss teaching secrets. but i shant say. or at least i feel obliged not to. hahaha. she gave us lots of info tt i feel we need. quite alotta notes i had to take. at one pt i was like going crazy. she talked so fast and everything was relevant. i just cldn catch up in terms of note-taking. heh =x

and it felt weird speaking in english to a chinese teacher. yuquan wld speak to her in mandarin and i wld speak to her in half eng half chinese. weird. hahaha. and she digressed alot too. haha. i cant really divide the answers to her qns into actual qn answers cos she digressed so much. i tink the best i can do is to list the qns at the top, then write down the information gathered in pt form below. haha. but it shall give us LOTS of pages worth of notes x) we can finally fill in our file. haha

but all in all, i guess tt she has been a great help. definitely a huge help to our project. we can work towards another direction now. cos our older endeavour has been seen to be fairly unfeasible. some minor tweaks and it shall be good. muarharhs.

today was A level oral also. haha. i really dunno how i got distinction for my o level oral la. after today's performance in the exam room.. i can only say tt i'll like fail my oral. hahaha

i tink i can just aim a pass for my A level chinese. =x

excel fest is FINALLY over. hahaha. not tt it was veeery tiring on us and all, but it was kinda stressful. haha. cos there was no progress whatsoever during the hols. but i was really impressed. the whole ki class got together and got everything done in like. just over a week. i really cldn haf asked for more from the class. hahaha. everyone worked so hard and pia-ded everything out just so our performance could turn out right. i mean, its our va also la. but yeah. everyone really bothered. its kinda like the nice singaporean i saw in the food court today. not everyone is hopeless. infact, the whole of the ki class r0x0rs. hahaha. 2kiB shall rock forever. hahaha.

who can forget the idea tt haikal had.. to use $1 coins as voting chips. hahaha. heavier box wins. and the outcome tt we (or at least i was) were hoping against - a draw. hahaha. fyi it really did happen on the first day tho. vote was 20-20. perfect. we counted 20-19 against the defence first tho. but later we found a last vote in the box. hahaha. coolz0r. just like on tv. okay. then what about the other idea we had, to turn wanru into the loudest speaker amongst the whole ki class in the next 1.5 years. ah. haha. fond memories. it just happened today and i'm speaking as thoit happened years ago. hahaha.

heatwave in singapore. i just know it. even after raining the whole day its soooo crazy warm at night. argh. hot and humid. just like the stories. i preferred it when it was dry. but morning rain is nice. =x

i dint do well for math. nor ki. i tink i never felt so sad abt my results all my life. except the o's anw. but yeah. usually i just dont care even when i fail. but it was weird. i felt really sad when i saw my -just-pass- results for math. i'm not good at math, nor did i revise nor do any homework. i really shdn be feeling so down. on the other hand when i saw my failed ki i was feeling okay. ah well.

talking to ppl tt i can talk freely to really helps with the downness. haha. just half an hr with kelly and cheryl (both not the s14 ones) made me feel alot better.

IMH *insert time*-ly report.

in the past few months since the public was last updated on the happenings of the imh.s14, alot had happened. first and foremost, the director , dr tan, had stepped down following rumours of being a victim of femmicranioporosis, commonly known as crazy girl syndrome. sure enough, she was admitted into imh soon after, under the circumstances of being a serious threat to humankind. She was sent to the A****************************************************************************************************************************************** ward on pluto mars. the identity of the current director is as yet unknown.

another event that had happened before that was the simultaneous murder of the receptionist and cashier on the ground level lobby. no evidence had been found, and police officers are stunned. a patient of imh, ng chua yanqin of ward 16, had taken over the role of both victims and been given the title receptionist-cum-cashier.

wards on mars have also been downsized. due to patients complaining of confusion when their ward was the size of Earth's bishan, the wards have been resized to accomodate their needs to fill their line of sight (and brains) with something other than white padded walls. the new wards are the size of two basketball courts and have windows linking adjacent wards and the outside world (whatever that is).

everyone at imho.s14 has been changing spectacles, as well. at the beginning of the term, shaun ho, a patient on mars' a***** ward, changed to the frameless, lensless, contact version of spectacles, claiming that donning the older pair of spectacles would "kill his left eye". lee eileen, a patient in a ward adjacent to ho's, had followed suit, making a pair of spectacles which matched the ground on mars. at first sight, on interview, ho said that the spectacles were so bright that it would "kill his left eye". however, he has since gotten used to the spectacles. former director tan cheryl had also announced the coming of a new pair of spectacles, details of which will be announced later. chua also used a pair of frameless, lensless, contact spectacles today. when interviewed, she responded with a rhetoric, "cannot ah", typical of her.

THIS JUST IN

new members to the imh.s14 family have been announced! due to their splendid performance at the CAAL house class period earlier in the day, they have been allowed into the ranks of imh.s14. the successfully inducted individuals will be added to the class C wards at ground zero one where they will attempt their climb to the top. the exact list of individuals has not been confirmed and will be released shortly.

following that, ho and lee announced intentions to downgrade their wards. however, due to the abundance of space on mars and the extreme dead-planet situation of the earth, they have expressed interest in staying on mars. tan had expressed interest in downgrading her ward as well. however, due to fierce protest against her regime, she had been requested to stay on her ward on pluto mars.

more additions to the imh.s14 family will be expected as the common test results, held in the real world over the past week, are released.

ch homecoming! ignis house dinner!

the homecoming was kinda screwed. haha. it was sorta like two years ago. noone went. just our own ppl buying and selling stuff. it was practically an internal tingy. everyone buys their tickets and uses them to buy from someone else. kinda failed imo. =x but still! it was a gd opportunity to find teachers and old frens. haha. noone's changed. except me i guess. twice today - u look different. haha =x

then erm. was stoning time. was supposed to go to raffles city comicsmart to play some good stressful magic. and noone was in. -.-; or at least noone i knew. haha. so twas stoning time. from 330 to 5. *kills*

the dinner itself. erm. i spent maybe 80% of the time playing bridge. haha. some dinner. felt like an s14 outing. some s14-ers also witnessed a source of s21 madness. a minor one, nonetheless. but still. it was crazy. i shant comment anymore.
