after so many days of thinking i haf finally remembered what i wanted to blog abt last wk alr. as in. during the period tt my internet was down. haha.

its about rain!! no not the singer/dancer. but yeah actual literal rain. yaknow sometimes u find tt ur at a junction in a bus and at the other side of the junction its raining and on this side its not? yeah this time it got abit more personal. hahaha

last wk on thursday when i had training, it began to rain at dunno wad time in the later parts of the afternoon. we decided to pull out cos it was bad for our new wilson trainers. er. for the tennis-impaired (hehe. this has gotta go into the book. x)) they're tennis balls.

so anw we went out and took a drink. half an hr later the rain had stopped for maybe 15 mins and the courts were drying up very well. so we decided to go back out. as we went onto the track from the grandstand, it began to rain -- on the field. so the rain moved in from nanyang and slowly moved onto the field. by then i was on the far end of the track nearer to the tennis courts. so i was abt to go in and tell them to stop playing, when i realised tt it was totally dry on the courts. so the rest tt were breaking came in shortly after. so tt was encounter number one.

this is encounter number two, which happened on the same day, 10 minutes later. hahaha. the rain stopped after it reached the end of the field, so we were totally okay. we had played a little bit, and were just getting started. then it started to rain again. this time, the rain came from behind. it started from the furthest court and made its way in. i dunno how far onto the field this one was cos i was watching the rain come in. so it slowly came. rayshio and i, on the court nearest to the grandstand were slowly watching it come as alex's back faced the impending shower. so it came in. 3rd court... then 2nd court.. then onto our 1st court. alex got slightly wet by the drizzle. then he got wetter cos of the shower. and all along rayshio and i were unharmed. the rain just kept coming. it came all the way past the net.. to the service line.. then it stopped. hahaha damn cool lah. it like stopped right in front of us. and we were totally dry. x)

er yeah. random story tt i tink shd be remembered. hahaha =x

2 days without the internet and my entire life is turned upside down. hahaha. i tink i'll die if the problem lasts thru the wkend lah.

so anw i'm back. x) and er. can i not blog abt cny. i'm reeeally lazy =x oh anw i tink the economy is improving. i got more angpao this yr than last yr =x hahaah okay. i shall shut up now. so like cny this yr is as fun as the previous years haf been, so yup. x)

oh and the problem with the internet was that we signed up for a speed upgrade cos singnet's 1500 and 5000 are almost the same price. so the singnet dudes went and did some stuff, and after they were done we had no connectivity. so er. yeah lasted until this morning when they sent ppl here to troubleshoot and apparently it was cos the broadband cables here could not support the higher speed connections so they had to re-route our connection. it was only then that we got our stuff back.

like finally. as i said, a wkend without internet = DIE. hahaha

cny celebrations today! oh and congrats to xianyong for winning the superstar title. x)

anw, we went back to cat high today! fun. hahaha. it was quite good lah. cos this year moe made sure tt the schs din haf illegal half-days today. so cat high was over only at like 1230. so when we reached the place at abt 11 they were still having their celebrations. and we dragged our teachers out one by one to talk today. x) so lets see. we saw (in chronological order) mdm ng, ms krishnan, mr jeff goh and mrs elaine goh. they were damn funny lah. and tt nzw super un-political. first ting go there alr start bitching ard abt lhb. hahaha. oh and one of the above (not gonna say name to protect his/her privacy. yeah. he/she is alr traumatised cos his/her name was alr posted on the net once and lhb went after him/her. hahaha) was like. 'in cat high they dig a hole and put a tree. or they dig a hole and fill it with water.' this is with respect to the fact tt they've been planting ALOT of trees and setting up MILLIONS of ponds in cat high. hahaha. and then he/she lagi best. "u come back in a year or two and this place will become a forest with only one entrance" hahahaha. rocking lah. x)

oh then after tt we had lunch in the canteen below cos we all had the craving for the food there. =x i tink i alr said this last year, but i shall say it again. i tink nj's laksa is terrible! cat high's laksa is alot better. x)

after tt we went to peicai to see chung!! haha. so long nv see her alr. and her hair's growing longer. is tt a sign of lack of stress? haha. actually she said tt theres a different kind of stress there. so err. yeah. apparently peicai is quite a (very) weak sch. oh and she's teaching 3 subs now. physics and the maths. and well she's never taught maths and a maths before lah. so yeah. hahaha. quite funny tho. she's gonna move again next year. and she's eyeing a place at st nicks. well gd luck to us ch guys tt wanna go visit her =x

then after tt was lunch (again) at macs at j8. i tink i'm gonna get fat. but yeah. then chat (gossip) with the bitch queen jion and the not so bitch queens darryl zhitao choonboon jingjiat and zhiwen and jeremy later on. but i swear i almost fell asleep. they were like speaking in chinese. my brain abit too dead to translate. =x but yeah it was fun catching up with them again. and listening to gossip. actually listening to gossip. aiya both lah. hahaha

haha. today's been fun. x)

happy first month anniversary! =)
today's the day after valentines. and omg was it boring. haha. but today i post not to bitch abt it being boring or wad.

but did anyone notice how we havent been scolded for the past entire year? okay or at least by our tutorial teachers. okay at least not mine. =x so yeah today getting scolded by ms chng like that was a surprise. haha. it was quite thrilling even. cos its been awhile since this kinda stuff happened. i tink alex must haf been quite satisfied. oh btw, background info. he actually laughs at ppl tt are in frustration. seeing ms chng like that must haf been like pornography to him. hahaha

oh btw benzie gave us a very liberal definition for pornography today. he said tt the purpose of pornography was to stimulate excitement; to arouse one. so if that wasnt taken sexually, anything tt one gets excited by can be considered pornography to one. so yep. tts wad i meant up there. haha. no weird thoughts k.

anw, surprise ma? its valentine's day and i'm at home. hahaha. i've actually been home all afternoon, so dun gimme any lame stuff like i'm only online now lah k. haha. xP

oh. and i had a random thought. vday. is it just another sad story that the lovelorn reminisce in deep sorrow, or is it the day in which all the loving couples can go out and enjoy time alone with each other? or is it a mix of both..? dun ask me why i suddenly came up with this. i was doing some random thinking and this happened ot pop into my mind awhile back =x

just some food for thought lah. today everyone's been getting all the chocs so now can get a different kind of food. =x

its been reeeally warm these days. talk about global warming. geez.

lemme show u one indicator tt its really getting too bright and sunny these days. usually i refrain frm using words tt haf double meanings. or can be punned on very easily. unless intended lah. hahaha. so lets say.. i dont like to use the words hot and cool. cos these are like the favourites for puns or double meanings. and they can be used by like anyone with that little bit of ego. so yeah. i dont say 'the weather is damn fricken hot lah'. or well. at least until recently.

so yeah its getting reeeally warm. please noone say tt its aaron's fault. i've got enuff of tt pun alr. hahaha. oh and no aaron-ish lame stuff k. like anyone tagging on my tagboard under the name noone saying tt its aaron's fault. or a similar one relating to that line. or this one. or this one. or this one. or this one. or this one. or this one. or this one. or this one. or.. ah u get the pt.

anw, today was like. wow. i'm bumping into people. hahaha.. actually its just 2 ppl lah. but its quite erm. unexpected. the first was yirong. who lives like heaven knows where but basically not near here. but she comes here to make her spectacles. like wow. hahaha. and the next was tsewei! so long nv see her alr. like more than a year. actually quite ironically.. i tink the last time i saw her was like exactly a year ago. cos i tink i last saw her on the release of the '05 o level results =x

okay and lets rewind abit to the piano concert. tt yanqin bothered me to go. so i rushed down after tennis training. lucky she also bothered wenhao ryan and jing jie. else i'll just die in the lt lah. hahaha. actually the concert this time round was more entertaining than i expected. i was like kept awake all the way thru, so yeah. not that i slept during the rest, but honestly the feeling did come. but this time rd nope. hahaha. it was gooder. and wenhao's newest idol's composition was like wow. some rjcian called grace ho. amazing piece she composed. but she wore like. puffy clothes tt made her look fat. epps. if anyone knows her please dont tell her i said that. =x and then the hueili. i was disappointed lah. last time she played those reeeally wild pieces. this time round they sounded so tame to me. haha. still great, but less impressive. i tink my expectations of her too high alr. hahaha

pimple breakout!!!

yaknow why pimples are so irrirating.. cos --
1. pimples are created but not destroyed, only changed from this form to the other. i.e. a scar.
2. scars are only created and not destroyed, and will not change from one form to another.

so yeah. its ANNOYING when u got like 3 mt. everests on ur left cheek.

and random thought. how come my black pencils always disappear without a trace. this is like the 2nd time alr lah. then if i go according to what happened the last time, its just gonna reappear in like a week or two.

another random thought. when u go to tony romas, choose ur appetisers carefully or u'll end up overeating like my family -- we had a 3 course appetiser. cos we ordered like their appetiser sampler, and a soup each. then the restaurant serves bread with herb butter with every order. so yeah. 3 course appetiser. the mains were wasted. hahaha

and yep! the motherfathers totally rocked the stage. MUARHARH.

we did take me out, a classic, followed by move along, a new trial song. and they both totally rocked. i reeeeaaaaally loved it when the audience actually sang with us lah! there was the part in take me out. like 'come on! .... *pause* ... TAKE ME OUT!!" hahaha. the audience sang the take me out part for us! awesomeness!! x)) and omg they must haf like totally recognised move along. cos when they heard the opening everyone was like screaming. hahaha. totally rocking lah.

but apparently jazz wins the night. owells. anw i guess we're all not too down cos we lost to a worthy band. not like when we lost to erm. someone else somewhere mid last yr. u know who i'm talking abt. hahha. but yeah. we're gd this time. we totally rocked the stage and the audience loved us. x) the teachers just erm. loved team indonesia more. hahaha.

and omg how can i forget all the support. hahaha. thanks everyone for coming down to watch! i dont really care if u dint come to watch the motherfathers cos at least u heard us. and if u dint haf fun i'll er. okay nvm. but yeah! i'm sure u had fun during our perf. hahaha. yupyup. but once again, thanks to all for coming down. x)

oh and special thanks to our groupies again! haha. u guys are like there at every gig lah. awesome people. sumyutha, shubha, phoebe. haha. oh and thanks for the lovely tulip too. this is like the first time ever tt i've received flowers. *cries* hahaha kidding. and thanks alot again! =)

yup. so conclusion: the motherfathers rocked ur socks. yeah. take that jacket off. hahaha. we jammed for the audience, and the audience loved the entertainment. tts all tt matters to me in the gig. tho doubtless i was kinda disappointed by the result, but hell. we had fun on stage. and we've been signed on for another gig in may alr. ROCK ON. hahaha.

so u'll see more of us. like. in may or smt. haha. once again, tonite gig featured the motherfathers, with take me out and move along. x)
