cts are over =)

a short summary --

ki paper 1 was STRESS. when i heard 2 essays in 3 hrs last year, i wasnt too worried. now i'm thinking i need an extra brain. just incase. yaknow. brain burnout and all that stuff. and no thanks i dont need zombies feeding on my brain now. =)

chem was die. uber hard, no time to finish, etc etc. i dont think i'll do well this time. eh aaron. i give u the first place in chem lah. i'll settle for somewhere 3 digit. no not percentile. ranking. in class, not in cohort. =)

maths was not too bad. easier than the previous time, but as usual, since i'm no good in maths, i might just die. and yup. as i alr said, i have total confidence in my skill in maths. especially pure maths. and statistics. especially maths. so i'll do really well in maths. =)
*producer's note: the entire paragraph starting from 'as i alr said', is sarcasm. please do not take it at face value. thankee.
EDIT: oh btw did i mention that i had two geniuses sitting next to me in maths? haikal on my right and cheryl on my left. but they dint write large enough for me to copy. -.-;;

physics was DIE. mcq = do 1/3 of the qns in 2/3 of the time given. rest of the time was spent chionging the qns and not doing qns that need tedious calculation. yeah. what uncertainty principle. probability of me getting correct is 1/4, no uncertainty abt that. paper 2 was like anyhow whack. (wtf why all the qns in section A abt electricity de. grrrr) so as everyone knows. i have relinquished my place as physics top. eh. RENUKA give u. =)

ki paper 2 was erm. easier than ever. first time that i could debate a claim that's smacked in our face. alvin leong was never that nice. he never ever gave us fightable claims before. we always had to find assumptions then argue those. hahaha. i'll prolly pass this. but the essays will definitely pull me down.

okay. tt was stupid. but yeah. its party time. x)

KI CLASS OUTING WAS FUN. even though we split up in the end. dinner was funny. bonding and all. superb. but 3 ppl werent there. =o no names.

KI PAPER 1 IS STRESS, PAIN, AND BURN.

i mean have u ever done an exam after which u get a blister on ur finger? geez. 3 hrs of essay. two essays of 1k each. brain burns, hand burns, and the moment i finish my 2nd essay its brain shutdown immediately. luckily i dint fall asleep halfway like someone else did. hahaha *not mentioning names* xPP

but zomg i have no idea how i'll do for this. seriously, i think tt i'll do poorly just purely because i dint wanna write anymore by the end of the 1st essay. but benzie was nice: he made the paper easier for us. but i tink.. overall i'll still die.

2 essays in 3 hrs. man. what was i thinking when i signed up for ki. sheesh.

i've made my decision. dont expect to see me on the physics top-scorers' list again. xP i also think i'll be on remedial for the rest of the year or smt. i havent touched maths and i'm feeling oh-so-confident now.

i'll take up the super slack style: study the night beforehand. x)

AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!

com trouble again >< lucky a simple backup-reformat-reinstall did the trick. geez. took me like 2 whole days to get this stupid thing running again. and i tink it was a virus attack. i mean since when did system restore wreck ur com? its supposed to help my com darnit. its like one day my com was sending corrupted error reports so i decided to system restore. after system restore my brilliant system starts to never start again -.-; so i needa safe mode backup. and safe mode is *************** slow. so i backup overnight. *screams* but okay. it seems fine now. *sigh of relief*

my right hand's fourth finger is CURSED. it got chewed on by an eagle ray then slammed by a car door, all in two days. long story? here it comes.

monday was sentosa with the family. so as all family trips go, we dont hit the beach. hahaha. we went to the other attractions around town. oh just fyi, the luge and skyride is fun x) so anw. we went to underwater world (and spend 2 hrs there in the end). so they haf this new interactive ray pond where the rays are like trained to be really friendly. the come to people and slap their fins against the walls splashing water all over us. and they allow us to like feed the rays. except tt u dont feed the ray by dropping the food in. ur entire hand goes in the water. hahaha. me being really (stupidly) brave, tries. its cheap anw. so i go. the first time round it went well, only tt the one to take the food wasnt a ray but a school of other fish placed there to remove excess food. then i go in a 2nd time. this time rd, the fish come but i dont let go. so an eagle ray comes and grabs the food. but being a really smart creature, it takes the food in between my index and middle fingers, then chomps down on my fourth finger. IT DOESNT EVEN MAKE SENSE!! @.@ okay. so my finger hurt for the rest of the day. just mild pain. nothing too big. it just felt crushed. oh. the stingrays like have no teeth? so it just crushed my finger. -.-;

okay. tt was sentosa. rides, dolphin show, underwater world, sky tower, brilliant dinner etc etc. and the car part? its just plain stupid. i placed my hand on the car while the door was open. then my younger bro goes BOOM.

AHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

now my finger's numb. yeah. it happened ytd and my finger is still numb. i think its dead or smt. =x

oh and we went prawn fishing ytd. i got nipped by prawns dunno how many times and my dad got nipped by prawns dunno how many times multiplied by a gazillion. but we caught 30 prawns! (and paid 60 bucks for the experience. SIXTY. tts 2 bucks a prawn. yippee. -.-;) but yeah. fishing with a rod is real fun. hahaha. it takes awhile before u actually know when u haf smt on the hook. sometimes they even let go. which is plain stupid cos u might just lose the bait. well anw i had a gd early game and end game. mid game i was just feeding the prawns. (:

oh but the prawns tasted good. x) oh dinner was at chomp chomp. REVENGE ON THE STINGRAYS. hahaha x))

tts abt it for the last two days while my comp died. i guess. haha. hot, sweaty, humid fun. x)

oh and a joke to round it all off.

new skin!! the old pink one (who said tt pink was only for girls hm?) has been like there for toooo long. hahaha. so this one now reigns. its super emo and goth and sad and all, so dont get too gloomy reading my blog. haha

back in pri sch, contentment was just knowing that the person i liked, liked me too.

in secondary sch, contentment was just having someone to love, that loved me too.

but now, what do i actually want?

i dont know if it gets harder to be satisfied, or easier to get agitated as one grows up. i dont wanna generalise, so i'll say tt 'one' is at least me.

i'm on my own this time.

my next match is on err. next sat 5pm. and the next one after tt is next sat 830. rocking eh? i think i'll die. =)

so well. the 2nd wk is officially starting. its abt time i start doing my IS, if not my work. haha. tt one's more urgent. "why dint u do ur homework?!" "i had to do my research study sir. its for my a level ki." "oh okay, you're excused. oh btw, dont do any homework until ur research study is submitted in late august. =)"

ROCKING. hahaha. i wish. =x

well. its another wk of slacking and IS. i just love holidays x)

sat was... mental trauma.

7 25 minute, 2 20 minute and 1 10 minute section, back to back, with only 2 5 minute toilet breaks. i was seated in that cabin classroom for 5 straight hrs and i swear my brain was bursting at halftime. by the last sections i was willing the whole thing to end quickly so tt i could just rest my poor brain. there was hardly any time to think lah. every section was rush rush rush just so that i could complete on time. i guess the sat tests more than just proficiency in language and math.

but i survived. barely. my brain was dead by the time i reached back.

later i played my first match of the tennis competition. really awesome though, playing on a dead brain. my thighs were giving up and i couldnt move anymore. lost 9-8, 7-4 in tiebreak.

my entire body's so sore now and i can barely do anything but sleep. i think i just will.
it gets so hard to smile sometimes.

p.s. the best thing is that my next match is tomorrow. awesome. if i dont rest up tonight tmr i'll die for real.
