then next week is mon and tues. wed shd (might) (has to) be slack day. so yeah. hahahahahhhhhh. cny period rocks. and i dont have duty at all this period! poor qingxiang has night duty on the 2nd day of cny. *sigh* owells.

these few days i've been playing this game called swords and sandals II. its this cute gladiator rpg game that's pretty hooking. the problem is i'm not very good at it. and in this game, die really equals to die. no respawn. =x if anyone has any nice builds or styles please tell me k. or if interested, you can just search it up on google. a million flash game pages have it. you can even play the prequel. which i havent played. ^^;

i know this is waaaay overdue.

but i'm finally inspired to do a new blogskin. ;D this might take awhile cos i'm doing something new, but it might also take less time cos i've already done part of it. actually i did another blogskin earlier but it wasnt to my liking cos its too bland and whatnot. even though it's operationally fine, i find it too.. black and white. so i dint use it. but well someone else wanted it. so i gave it to her. hahaha. if wanna view, go to wanru's blog. the new skin will be along those lines. but it shall be nicer. ^^;

but yeah. i'm gonna start work. hopefully i can finish this by tonight ^^;

so i've survived 3 days of work at cmpb. its actually not that bad working as a clerk. quite a fun place except that its quite stressful at times too cos my department handles the tough stuff. the unhappy people that want disruption but that cant get.

i'm the one replying them. and after my senpai goes, i'll be only one left in the whole department that's doing that job. *sigh* he's leaving in 3 weeks so i gotta learn everything from him by then. ahhhhh. but the job itself isnt too bad. there's standard answers and all, so it shdn be too bad. quite brain stimulating too. must be able to find and quote policies and all. haha. so must choose the correct stuff and whatnot. its not a bad job. only its quite stressful sometimes, and quite free during others.

and i like shredding paper. its like relaxing lah. today i read a 3 inch thick file full of old cases. it was an archive lah. one of 4. i finished reading it and my brain felt like bleh. i went to shred paper. and it was fun and calming! hahaha. unexpected effect. its fun ;D the seniors there thought i was nuts. cos they hated shredding. heh. me and this other guy called eugene both enjoyed it. so now, to them, the junior guys are nuts. hahaha. owells.

but i gotta wake at 530 to leave the house at 630 these days. *sigh* tmr's thursday, and after that its tgif. ;D

anyhow i heard alex fractured his ankle and also got downgraded to pes e for the next 3 months =x must be damn tough training or smt.

and haikal said that his training is slack. but from what i hear, cant be any slacker than mine. ^^;

i dint blog about it, but yesterday my left eye was hurting like zomg. apparently 3 stitches in my eye burst at almost the same time and they were poking my eye. like wth. hahaha. it really hurt like shit. supposed to go to sch and play tennis lah. then stan asked me for movie too. i had to reject both. blahhhh. at least its all fixed now.

i just wanted to blog about this. i mean like. 3 stitches bursting then my eye hurting worse than during the infection. like wow.

okay it seems like i'm gonna be flamed forever for the middle paragraph of my previous post. hahaha. *grabs water*

so. well. in less than a week i'll be bald. my beautiful long black and blonde locks (LOL) are gonna be gone. and then i'll become a clerk. o.O owells. we'll see how that turns out. maybe it'll be more fun than i expect. maybe it'll be less slack than i want. hahaah.

but for now, i'm mapling as a female wizard called zeia. its damn amusing tricking the guys in there lah. when i enter parties, most of them call me she and i correct them. haha. but this one guy. he invited me to a private chat and his first line was 'i like you'. zomg. i decided to play on him. i said i'm not looking, then close the window. later he continues to harass me. and he asks my age. i say 'not telling! xP' and he goes 'woah. definitely 16' wtf!? hahaha. damn funny lah. these maplers are so desperate to find spouses. ingame. like wow.

LET ME OUT OF THAT TRAIN. bleh. some people need to learn some courtesy. no seats also still shove until like that. maybe they're worried that if they dont shove they cant get enough air in the train. yay. you still squeeze like hell lah basket. infact, going in last is better cos its so much easier to get out. bleh ;o

and yesterday on the train. roflmao i saw this super mismatched couple. one damn good looking malay dude with this fat butt ugly chinese chick. lol chick. i cant imagine why people like this would get together lah. i mean i've seen two fat butt ugly people as a couple, and two super good lookers as a couple. but this kinda arrangement makes me cringe. why would that guy wanna hook up with a whale like her?! hahaha. i couldnt stop staring lah. was super friggin amused.

and one more. to all the kiasu aunties out there -- vouchers and coupons are bonuses. they are not red or blue notes that you absolutely MUST use. dont go the extra mile just to use up one extra voucher worth 10 bucks. just let it be. use one voucher and be happy. it beats not using the voucher at all, isnt it.

shaun hates the new years' countdown because the new year is never really a completely nice thing.


just like xmas, it means that school is gonna start again
it means that we gotta stop the holiday mood and get back into study mode
the fun ends here, the grinding is yet to begin
old loves lost, new hates to be forcibly obtained
companions swopped with inanimate objects
time once spent becoming but bittersweet memories


there. reasons why i hate new years'. its never nice. xmas is bittersweet. new years' is just bitter. and i'm not attacking anyone in particular, but i think new years' resolutions are stupid because you're using a 'big' day like this one to celebrate your own mediocrity. i mean, such improvements can be made to oneself throughout the year, so why doesnt anyone talk about xmas resolutions, or national day resolutions? so yepp. i dont make resolutions either. i dont need a holiday to make me improve myself. (why, some resolutions that people make arent even resolutions. 'nuff said.)

in the end, we're just one day older, one day wiser. 31st december 2007 and 1st january 2008 is just one day apart, not one year apart.

however, this one extra day means one extra day to spend with loved ones. one extra day to do things meaningful to oneself. one extra day to just take a break and smell the flowers. one extra day to spend alive.

celebrating new years', to me, is plain unnecessary. its the celebration of a milestone of having travelled another 365 (or 366) days. the celebration of making a certain one number a single digit larger. the celebration in which people think back about the happy and sad times of the past 365 (or 366) days.

i'd very much rather celebrate each extra day i've been given. getting up in the morning, looking forward to what is to come later in the day, then reflecting at the end of the day on things that i've done that day, and thinking of what went wrong, and what i should do in the future. i'd very much rather enjoy the time i have with my friends and loved ones each day, rather than giving them a fresh greeting only once a year.

but i guess in the end, i still have reason to celebrate new years' day. not as a special day, but as another day that i've been given to enjoy myself. another day to spend with the ones important to me.

happy new year everyone. 2008 is gonna be fun ;D
