my dad was telling me this story the other day and i think i should share it here. its HILARIOUS.

so imagine this huge major cross junction. its a busy road on a busy day at a busy time. obviously, when the lights are red, there will be a small pile-up at the end of the junction. so these cars are stopped at the junction facing this red light.

its funny, cos theres this young guy that's at the left side (from the cars' viewpoint) of the road and he's cautiously eyeing the road situation. then he does it. he dashes across the road, without looking, in between the cars.

he doesnt see it, but theres an oncoming motorcycle. then CRASH. SLAM. yep. there were two crashes. guess what happened.


the guy ran into the side of the motorcycle, knocking the motorcycle over and sending its driver slamming into a stationary car. the guy was perfectly unhurt.


i leave the consequences and possible weird laws on speed limits up to your imagination. =)

happy labour day and long weekend!

i noticed that some people's blogs have dps. disappearing post syndrome. i.e. their posts are there one day, then they disappear the next. its damn weird lah. sometimes i cant tell if its my browser problem or if its really their posts disappearing.

and sometimes hejin (her blog on my left navi bar) just says the things that hit the spot. this time round she has a little paragraph on unfulfilled promises. it really resonates with me. for reasons that i shouldnt say here anyhow.

yesterday was my medicine interview! freaky freaky. i dont wanna talk about it here though. so if you want details, feel free to msn or sms me.

i just wanted to blog. anw i'm going for nina's birthday celebration soon! happy bdae nina =)
