why's it so hard to book the tp!!
its been sitting on the same day for the longest time. instructor's orders were to get the lunchtime slots. the earliest date is on 13th feb 09, but it only has the 9am slot. and its been on this date since, i dunno. saturday!? buh.
i have a feeling that once the date changes all the lunchtime slots will be gone instantly and i'll be stuck again. >.>

so yeah. it was all DAMN messed up. but i think i should thank eileen for being so kpo and actually finding out what was wrong.

anyhow, things werent exactly as they are, so to my readers, dont take everything at face value. there was quite alot of under layers, dont know this dont know that, thought this thought that. especially the intial load of info. most of it was quite off. this has been clarified, so there's not much issue anymore.
she has also asked me to add that she is not particularly hurt/offended by my hypothesis. this has been clarified well enough.
she also wants me to say that my hypothesis is wrong. BUT NEVER.

a friend of mine was parking his car. this happened:
friend parks car. friend steps out. friend looks at car, and deems it parked in a crooked manner. friend enters car, reparks. friend takes drink, leaves car, looks, and walks to lift. friend screams "OH NO! i forgot to put parking coupon." friend enters car, puts parking coupon. friend leaves car and walks toward lift. friend screams "OH NO! i forgot my drink." friend goes back to car to take drink.

and in work i was reading this suicide note. (i hope i dont get prosecuted under the OSA!) its quite sad, not only for the person that committed the act, but also the friends that the note was addressed to. really, the guy was like giving directions, details, names, and like, loads of other stuff. when you think of a suicide note, you think of like, a small piece of paper dedicated to a person. this note was like, 6 pages long -- i'm serious -- and was addressed to two people.
so i was just saying, its terrible for the guys the note was addressed to, cos they have so much stuff to do! they were tasked to settle debts, collect gratuity, draw cpf, empty the guy's account through his atm, plan funeral and cremation, even speak to the dude's one true love. so straaaaangeeeeeee. O.o;
but in all, suicide notes are plain sad.

i hereby justify the use of observationS made on saturday as support for my concluding theory.
premises:
1. kembangan, being mostly residential, would reasonably have a large outgoing traffic, in relation to its incoming traffic, on a saturday afternoon.
2. it is the examination period, and most teenagers are not likely to be staying over at friends' places.
3. people will go to the mrt station that is closest to their homes
4. kembangan is in the 'east', and constitues only a part of the 'east'.
5. kembangan is not on the border of the 'east'.
6. the term 'east' is clearly defined.
logic:
premises1 and 2 logically conclude that most of the teenage girls that i saw walking towards the mrt station (constituting outgoing traffic) came from their own residences, which would be reasonably concluded (using premise 3) to be in or around kembangan. which is in the east.
hence, most of the teenage girls i saw lived in the east.
i hereby also justify my concluding statement by using the method of induction. the observations made on sunday were but part of a set of many other observations made over a period of time. these observations include observations made in other parts of the east, as well as observations made in the west.
caveat: induction is not 100%, and exceptions will exist. the occasional exception, however, does not invalidate the theory.

i dont know where all this angst is coming from, but i feel like bitching down every single person i know right now.
anyway, MY DJ MAX PORTABLE HAS ARRIVED. after like idunnohowmany months since i ordered it. you do the math. i placed my order on 16th july. it arrived last friday. geez. anyway, to be fair to them, the stock only arrived in err. i dunno, early october. but still.
and damnit, i wanted to get the syriana size L tee. it went out of stock in the 2 days that i was considering whether or not to get it. that's not all. it was the ONLY one that went out of stock. as of this post, syriana size XL, NB size L and XL and vintage L and XL are ALL still in stock. argh i am SOOOO annoyed. my plan to be a djmax fanboy has been ruined!! geez.
but okay, back to the djmax portable. at least all the songs are in and nothing's broken. OST, MV all that crap. good! but basket. no link disc because umd and iso cant link. apparently i only found that out after my umd shipped. so yay. >.>
owells. clazziquai is coming out this on the 23rd of the month but i dont want it. black square and fever shd be out in november and i'm gonna go wild. shd i buy fever or black square?
i was at kembangan station yesterday, and i think i can more or less confirm my theory -- girls that live in the east are better looking than girls that live in the west. *braces for potential flaming* becauseee. the girls have nicer features. if they dont, at least they know how to dress up. and theres those that have nice features and know how to dress up. i dont know why, but i couldnt concentrate on my djmax while i was standing there waiting.

yesterday my mum gave me a monitor. yes. a computer monitor. my dad gets some stuff free from his company, and we tend to grab computer monitors. haha. so yeah. now i'm running a 20 inch (!!!) monitor on 1680x1050 resolution. sounds sweet? not really. i cant find wallpapers around AT ALL. nothing fits!! and to top it off, theres this 1.5cm scratch at the bottom left of the screen. its soooo irritating when i'm trying to do art. but hell. 20 inches of monitor. nice. ;D

i'm gonna bitch again.
it will help to know the layout of the 52-410g-410w queue at bishan, but its not crucial. its basically a U shaped bus queue. the type with metal railings that's open air with shade.
there was this auntie standing at the entrance to the 410 white queue. with shopping bags. i noticed a good 4 or 5 people try to get into the queue. they had to squeeze past her to get in, and she didnt so much as budge.
when a 52 came, she quickly got out of the queue and ran to the front of the 'unqueueing' group. turns out that the 52 was arriving and not leaving, like hah.
conclusion? stupid auntie was trying to get quick seats on the bus, but could take 410 white or 52 and didnt wanna bet on either. if i were taking 410 white i would have bitched her to eternity.
i mean, get your seats, but dont inconvenience others while trying to do so. or at least move a little when the schoolgirl is trying to get into the queue k? geez.
but okay. i'm chilled. i've seen worse in genting that i dont want to put here.
anyhow, i was told today by a friend that i look like the kind that would date 5-10 girls at once.
if only i had such ability!! hahaha.

i have always declared that the little things are the ones that you remember the most. the last time something similar to this happened it was when low kwee peng drew fire under my hangman.
today, i was submitting a document to a (young and pretty) officer and i wrote this on a sticky note:
'cleared by sir 了。给你看看。'
half an hr later the document came back, and this was written under it:
'wow. didnt know you could still write chinese. keke ^.^ read: 谢谢!'
i think the bosses get bored sometimes too. haha

shaun is back!!
first up, i need to thank guest blogger for her hard work. so, thank you for all these posts, the cute llamas, and the eye-and-brain-burning drag queen dancer. =) i think you posted more in 3 days than i usually post in a week. hahaha. ;D and yes, again, thanks alot for keeping my blog alive. x)
anyhow, genting was awesome!! i think i played like, at least 12 hrs of psp there. on the way there, while there, and on the way back. yes hunting is a male pasttime, so it would make sense that we males bond by hunting dragons and wyverns.
and taking rides at the theme park! ;D but okay. the photos are still lying around in other people's houses, so i shall not have any pictures yet. but still, the rides at the theme park are zomg good. corkscrew is like the classic big rollercoaster ride at genting. its not much compared to stuff people tell me about that can be found in jpn or aus or stuff, but its still fun and the queue is zomg short. ;D
and i took the space shot! you know, its that ride where they strap you onto a chair, bring you up like 7 storeys or so and drop you. a few times. hahaha funnnnn. the scenery was amazing right at the top lah. green hills and cloudy tips everywhere. then suddenly i was at the bottom of the ride, and going right back up. hahaha. yes it was my first time taking this ride. and i cant remember what the feeling was like lah! it just came and went in like 20 seconds. i queued half an hr for a 20 second ride. whee? but okay. fun. hahaha
but some stuff in genting did make me miss singapore. first up was the air. yeah it was cool and stuff. actually it was really nice and cool. 17 degrees outside, just abit more inside. natural aircon rocks ;D but okay, back to the topic. there were smokers everywhere!! the ventilation was so bad inside the malls that there was the smell of smoke everywhere. and more people were just smoking. i missed my clear, smell-less singapore air o.o;
the other was the service in genting. their counter staff and waiters and all werent very courteous. they didnt even seem interested in their job and tended to give you this half-assed look all the time. so when this one staff at kfc actually smiled at me and wished me a nice day ahead, it really took the cake.
oh did i mention. genting kfc is GOOD. their chicken is crispier than ours and the hot and crispy chicken didnt taste of chilli -- it was curry. with spices up top!! twas zomgamazing.
and the stuff there was cheap too. breakfast buffet was err rm25? about like 10 bucks. you dont get buffets in singapore for 10 bucks. the food was decent enough, so the 10 bucks was definitely worth it.
but even though it was cheap, there was pretty much nothing to buy there. nothing really interesting or worth the time lah.
but okay. overall, twas fun! i dont know what else i wanna say about the place though. i've been to genting like 4 times and err. well okay. this is my first non-sch trip out without my parents. yes get a life bla bla. hahahaha. but yesh twas fun twas fun. bridge daidee and psp zomg ;D
shaun is off to apply for a credit card! and is suffering from an acute lack of sleep.

hiyahiya dearest all. the shuai ge shaun will be back in singapore tomorrow. so most probably this will be my last & final post here before he gets back & reclaims the ownership of this blog. =) well, this IS his anyway. haha. hmm, well. i was thinking. when someone goes on a holiday, he/she is practically removed off the grid, in terms of communications. usually, you wont bring a laptop. although you'll bring your phone along, most probably you wont use it as you'll have to pay roaming fees for a single sms sent. & it may not be cheap, according to local (there) prices. yupps. so unless necessary, no one here locally will know what happened to you overseas. x.X hahaha. but my guess is that shuai ge shaun is having great fun there. hmm.. what else is there in genting? =p oh wells, lets just wait for him to share with us about his relaxing/exciting/boring/whatever short overseas holiday trip to m'sia. tara all.

hellos all. here i am again.
here's a short diary entry on his fun-filling morning. XD mr shaun ho offically set out of his house at 6am in the morning. & he had been waiting since 0620 to board the bus. finally, he boarded the bus an hour later at 0718 to be on his way to genting. on the bus, he and a few colleagues were very lucky, as they had an almost-private lower deck for the four of them to chiong psp together. (a friend commented saying, "how old already, still chiong psp." hee.) meanwhile, he felt like a pig. (oinks!) with a slight envy, i commented that sekali he played too much psp until he doesnt have enough energy to shop & play in genting. being the thick-skinned person as he always is, he replied, "anw we have holiday stamina so psping is fiiine ;D" finally, the last anyone have heard from him would have been 0814, when he was crossing the border then.
tada~ well, before going off, he asked if he could sneak into a casino & asked if he looked 21. well... as im not that good in looking at people for ages, i couldnt give a reply. >.> but thinking back, i though casino's age limit is 18? =/ unless m'sia's is 21. hmm.. oh wells.. never mind. ^^ lets hope that mr shaun ho will enjoy his short stay in genting, & hopefully he'll have a chance to sneak into a casino. & if he does try his hand at betting, we hope that he wont lose too badly! XD kies lah, hope that he'll win SOMETHING, at least. =)
